I think he'll do just fine.

Freedom fighters then?

Perhaps, but it is hard to defeat an enemy you cannot conquer. America has enough trouble handling a bunch of illiterate peasents in not only a jungle but also an arid desert, no doubt the french will find themselves equally challenged. :)

Karma has a great way of repaying such debts...

We'll see, if thats your gameplan you'd still have to set it all up infrastructure wise not like we have ready made camps, and im sure all those soldiers you didnt manage to kill may have a issue with you trying to exterminate our whole population. But its not in our hands now... ah well

Tip: If one poisons the drinking water and cuts off the food source one can cause great slaughter without spending a single bullet.

Hehe gotta make it a poison that will wear off in time if you want to use the land at all, and youd have to restrict all our farmers from farming as we survived a blockade for sometime, plus seeing as scotland and wales look like they will be free along with northern england even if you did that to southern england youd just have a huge migration issue as all my people move to more friendly lands. Which i have no problem with to be honest, they gotta live.

Not to mention that logistically the occupiers would be having a hell of a time, as all their water would have to be imported. Kara, I doubt that Crezth could get away with what you did in INES here. Plus I doubt that other anglophone nations would take too kindly to English genocide.

You guys make it sound so difficult! Let me put it into perspective for you:

1840 - French industry takes off on a torrent of free marketeering, helming bold new industrial innovations, eventually surpassing most of the world economically and meeting the British Empire without creating a single new colony.

1850 - The British Empire and the Second Union of the States fall before a mighty onslaught, the French army proves itself not only dominating but influential as Virginia and New England seize the reins of the North American landscape, and France becomes the new premier power.

1904 - France is humiliated one (1) time in the course of a 70-turn set of NESes.

1905 - France doesn't lose anything anyway.

1906 - France thinks it got a bad rap even though, as we all know from our historical perspective, it could have been much worse.

1920 - France retreats behind the shades and begins to dominate industry behind the scenes, even as everyone else destroys themselves.

1939 - France has swept across Europe and destroyed one of the oldest alliances.

1942 - France has tamed Russia as well, the mightiest nation to have graced the planet.

1950 - France sieges the unsiegeable (or so everyone said) island of England.

1951 - France is a gigantic, stable empire with millions of able-bodied men ready to serve and die for a cause they truly believe in. The purpose? To ensure French domination, no matter the cost. Their track record? But for a coffee stain - perfect.

If you think there are obstacles my empire can't tackle, think again. I have let go of the reins of my pet empire, and I'm sure that no matter what NPC behaviours EQ imbues in her, she will be massively successful in all she endeavors to do.

Vive le France!

All Empires fade :) If History has taught us anything it is that. Oh and dont trust guys called Brutus

You left out the part where the French navy is crushed by Communists in the Caribbean. ;)
