A Brave New World Part 3

To: Miami
From: Mexico

Mexico is happy to provide army training and equipment specialists to your great nation. As a beacon of peace and stability Miami must remain strong in these troubling times.

To: New France
From: Mexico

Mexico would be happy to provide military modernization assistance to New France. In the past our nations have been great friends and allies and we hope that such cooperation can be returned in time. If it is desired we will provide army and naval specialists to your nation. We will also allow your nation to purchase ships and military aircraft from Mexican arms companies if it is desired.

To: El Salvador
From: Mexico

Mexico would be willing to provide military training to El Salvador to assist in establishing doctrines and order among your armed forces. Recent coup attempts are concerning and as such we are unwilling to provide technical support at this time. In the future we will look at reviewing this situation.

To: Philippines
From: Mexico

Mexico is more than willing to seek closer ties with our friends in the Philippines. We would suggest a general reduction of trade barriers between our nations enabling greater Mexican investment into the Philippines and increasing trade between our nations.

Militarily we will need to confirm exactly what the Philippines desires. We would be happy to sign naval training and improvement agreements between our nations if that is so desired. If a defensive agreement is desired we can accept this as well to ensure peace and stability in the Pacific.

To: Sweden
From: Mexico

We condemn Sweden's Imperialistic actions in the Pacific. Too often has Sweden attacked Mexico without warning or provocation. We can no longer stand for Sweden's constant meddling in the Pacific and demand Sweden vacate Hawaii and return it back to Mexican authority. This is the only way we can feel secure that Sweden will not strike Mexico for the third time this century.

We have already shown our disdain of Sweden's actions privately.

To: The SUSA
From: Mexico

We will be sending the electorion monitoring officials to SUSA as requested. We hope for a peaceful transition to democracy for SUSA.

To: Georgia
From: Mexico

Mexico condemns Georgia's sudden aggression against Mississippi.

To: France, South Africa, Nijeria
From: Mexico

After reviewing the evidence provided publicly by yourselves, France and Pancasilla we would note that both Nijeria and South Africa have been destabilizing influences on the African continent. We would suggest that your governments immediately seek to reform your actions and policies to bring the continent back to stability so that peace can reign. Your actions are rather similar to those of Sweden in the Pacific.

If your countries are unwilling to do such things we hope that France can restore order to the continent with minimal bloodshed before unrest can spread further.

New Zealand agrees and believe the Swedish bilge rats and jodeling Samii should return from whence they came, and will host Mexican bombers and ships with open arms. We only regret that we cannot risk more than this, but hope that our support will induce other nations to similarily show their disgust.

To: The World
From: Arabistan

Arabistan is pleased to announce the formation of the Arab League between the nations of Arabistan, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, and Yemen. This alliance of Arab nations has been created with the goal of mutual defense and greater cooperation throughout the Middle Eastern community. Iraq has also been invited to join this organization, if they should so wish.

At the moment, Rashid Arabia has not been issued an invitation to join the Arab League, for various reasons. Should they request admittance, the League will review their application.

I'm rescinding my request for Tunisia, as I have messaged EQandcivfanatic asking for other suggestions. I will still be playing, but a couple of small nations have interested me, and I want to be in a relatively stable place so I can learn the ropes.

Word of Warning: He sometimes takes a few days to reply, so if he doesn't in time I suggest just sending in orders.
I suggest Ireland. Nobody has invaded that place for about a hundred years (?) and they were neutral in the second world war and haven't made any noises ever since. I dunno, England went for them sometime before the first world war and then they gradually achieved independence.
Afghanistan is also pretty peaceful, ironically.
Chile and Alaska are also very isolated.
Of course you're always welcome to the Phillipines, Taiwan or Kyushu. It may be a messy neighborhood, but we're all surrounded by water and Pancasila's instability doesn't seem to extend further than Borneo. I have to say I'm biased in this matter though, since APACS is fond of player nations.
Ireland remains my primary advise for any player who wants stability and/or isolation.

From: Mexico

We condemn Sweden's Imperialistic actions in the Pacific.

New Holland concurs. Upon closer historical evidence from Mexico we have come to the conclusion that at the end of the Second World War Sweden should have returned Hawaii to Mexico.
We are greatly saddened as well that Sweden continues to exhibit imperialist traits in corners of the worlds as far off as the Fiji and Solomon islands. Indeed their stubborness extends to rebuffing our generous offer last year of 15 billion Australian Dollars to purchase these islands, and despite our assurances that we would not attack should they decline they transferred over a hundred thousand soldiers to these islands with accompanying sailors, bringing crime, rising food prices and stricter colonial rule with them. However upon closer discussions with Zeeland and in our magnanimous desire for peace we have decided to, hand in hand with our Zeeland brothers, bilaterally give Sweden one more year in which to take us up on our renewed and generous offer. In the hopes that this renewed offer will be accepted we hope to invite Swizz economists to determine the true worth of these islands, including of course a generous sentimentality surcharge, provincial self-rule and national passports, privileges, rights and indeed gifts to both native and Swedish citizenry. We believe that if Sweden continues to refuse such warmhearted offers this will only incense other less charitable parties across the world to take what is rightfully theirs at no charge and no compensation. Those who are greedy will reap what they sow.

Be advised that if war occurs this year New Holland, like New Zeeland, will remain neutral but provide both air and naval bases to Mexico. The cause of Mexico is just and they champion not only themselves, but also the Pacific and Asian community and the wider world.
New Holland has answered Mexico's call, and we encourage others to step forward whether they be an interested party or a neutral observer.

I had not considered Ireland, but that's a very good idea. So that makes my list something like
Afghanistan
Kyushu
New France
Philippines
Switzerland
Taiwan
Tunisia
Hopefully EQ will respond within the next couple of days, and I'll get his recommendation as well. Thanks for the advice, Toteone.

We are willing to come to an agreement with you. We will hear your terms, and propose our own, and hopefully through this we will end any question of warfare in the Pacific. Please contact us regarding this.

I have no more plans for Nijeria, and so I would like to switch to Bulgaria.

To Italy
From Bulgaria

We declare the sovereign Republic of Macedonia will be founded next year, free of Bulgarian influence and under its own democratically elected government. We promise that, at the end of this next year, there will be no more Bulgarian forces than Italian forces in Bulgaria's former Greek territory.

We propose that the Republic of Macedonia should be allowed to hold a referendum on the issue in two years' time, when it is fully independent, whereby all Bulgarian citizens may vote by the Single Transferable Vote on whether they wish to be part of Italy, part of Bulgaria, or to remain independent.

We are sure that you will find this proposal fully reasonable and acceptable.

We would also like to ask you to help us modernise our army. Might you be willing to help us in this regard?

To Serbia, Hungary, Romania, and Macedonia
From Bulgaria

We propose a defensive alliance of our five countries, although, of course, Macedonia cannot decide on the matter until it comes into existance next year, and, furthermore, we ask that you support our generous settlement of the issue of Macedonia.

Hate to say it... but the post-count in the PM window changes. You can look at very old PMs to see this in effect. It isn't hard to falsify. So, go fish? :D

Damn. Forgot about that. *facepalm*

New Holland applauds Sweden's willingness to find peace in what is all too often a wartorn and sundered world. The angels celebrate your wisdom today, and the Dutch will most certainly remember should your nation ever find justifiable areas to expand.

OOC: Hmmm, it occured to me yesterday EQ is charging 2% of influence for units worth more than 3 EPs. I thought this might help anyone wondering about purchases-influence themselves.

To: Nijeria, South Africa
From: France

Order restoration practices are forthcoming.

To: Sweden, Mexico
From: France

After reviewing the situation, we must also denounce Sweden's actions in the Pacific as being unduly aggressive and overly imperialistic.

After reviewing the situation, we must also denounce Sweden's actions in the Pacific as being unduly aggressive and overly imperialistic.

The French government will find that actions are already being taken by the government of Sweden to put an end to any question of violence or disorder in the Pacific, and that negotiations are ongoing to that effect.

From Republic of Italy
To Bulgaria

No there is no option for any part of it to be returned to Bulgaria, we cannot condone any such action. It can vote for it own government, but for the next two years it will be administered by Italy so we can repair damage done to Macedonia by you.

We stand at your doorstep ready to crush you and you ask us for assistance in modernizing your military? We cannot do such a thing until you change your leadership away from the individuals who are obviously not sane and untrustworthy.

We can say if such a change took place Italy would certainly be willing to work with a new regime.

From Italy
To Serbia, Hungary, and Romania

We are willing to sign any defensive agreements you may feel needed to prevent yourselves from being invaded. As none of you have been unstable in quite some time and have not been inflicting terrors on your populations we are more than willing to modernize your military.

These offers come with the assurance that given the new Trans European Pipeline your safety would be assured by Italy in any case as we do not want to disrupt peace in Europe and the Med anymore than needed to contain unstable governments.

The French government will find that actions are already being taken by the government of Sweden to put an end to any question of violence or disorder in the Pacific, and that negotiations are ongoing to that effect.

Yes, indeed. We hope the talks go well.

We are happy for no referendum at all to take place if this is your preference, but if there is no option for it to rejoin Bulgaria, in which it has been happily prospering for many years but for the actions of a few extremists, there must be no referendum for it to join Italy either.

We will not have it governed by Italian interests. We will withdraw, and we will set up a committee of local prominent Greeks to oversee the transfer. While Italy is more than welcome to send observers to see that the committee is fairly chosen and that Macedonia is set up well, and we are happy even for you to choose half of the committee (on the basis of merit alone) from the local prominent Greeks, any movement of Italian troops into Macedonia will result in an equivalent Bulgarian action.

No state in Macedonia free from Bulgarian interests is satisfactory unless it is also equally free from Italian interests.

From Republic of Italy
To Bulgaria

So you define 'Prospering' as being systematically relocated, stolen from, and otherwise treated as dirt to be wiped off the Bulgarian's shoes when they stepped in the mud?

Your government is obviously just as corrupt and disgusting as we thought. We have already said we are going to invest in rebuilding Macedonia and helping it get on its feet for two years so that whatever government they decide, either remaining as part of the Republic or going independent they will be under a stable and just regime.

Bulgaria cannot be trusted to set up a tent without burning it down out of spite.

Bulgaria will remove itself from Macedonia, Bulgaria will not have a say in the next step of Macedonia. This is all there is to it. If you do not meet these two requirements Bulgaria will have a new government which will actually care for the interests of it citizens instead of a few elites who are willing to throw their citizens lives away just so they can continue to exploit and mistreat the Macedonian population for a little longer. Bulgarians who do not wish to remain in Macedonia will be free to relocate to Bulgaria.

These were the terms offered originally by Italy to Bulgaria as I recall they were:

Get Out or the Republic of Italy will make you. They were not kinda leave, or leave some buddies in charge for later when no one is looking.

OOC: Then you shouldn't have transferred to a nation about to be wiped out due to its actions.

OOC: Erm... hmm. I didn't quite realise that was your stance. If you must. I thought Italy might be vaguely reasonable.

To Italy
From Bulgaria

We will not stand for Bulgarian rule simply being exchanged for Italian for our beloved Greek subjects. As we said, we crave no influence on a future Macedonian government, but neither shall we tolerate an Italian puppet state.

To the World
From Bulgaria

Will anyone help us escape from these deranged Italians? You can surely see that Bulgaria is the door to the Balkans and to Italian imperialism of the most devastating sort for everyone? Russia, can you not see Constantinople standing vulnerable? Serbia, Romania, can you not see your independence at stake as well as that of Bulgaria? Turkey, do you not see where this could all lead for you? We implore everyone to prevent the mighty taking from the more humble by force on random and false pretexts. Bulgaria will die with its bayonets fixed, its heads held high, its wounds in its front. Will you?

No, but Italy probably will in the end if it gets us.

We were asking for your help against Italian imperialism, which is coming dangerously close to Constantinople.
