We are the Human Republic, loyalists that fled the military coup with then-Vice President Rupert Kingman. Vegetti, at least, had not forgotten its loyalty, nor our other worlds. Who are you to claim higher lineage?

Davis' whole body shook as he crouched down at the end of the ravine. The walls were too steep to climb- he was cornered. The soft footsteps of his pursuers echoed behind him.
Tears, now half-dried, streaked his face. Davis couldn't forget. He couldn't forget anything. The look on Salvecci's face just before the Children had took him... it wouldn't leave his mind. Salvecci, Armstrong, Burroughs, Wilcoxon... they'd all been part of his cell, but now he was the last one left. The last one they hadn't taken.
Davis gritted his teeth and pulled the charge from his blaster, confirming that it was full before jacking it back into place. The Kids had taken everything from him... if this was going to be the end, then he'd return the deed in kind.
The footsteps came to a halt. Davis readied his blaster, its firing bulb humming and crackling with energy. Adrenaline flooded his body, as the survivor took aim. He waited... and waited...
"What are you waiting for, you [] []?!"
"Surrender yourself, Civilian Davis. Your fight is over, and the Elders do not seek-"
"[] your [] Elders! If I die, I'm dying a [] human!"
Davis' pursuers were silent for a moment, before responding.
"We do not seek to waste any human lives, including yourself."
Davis worked up enough bravado to snort.
"You'll find that I ain't very likely to be contributing to your manpower pool, Kiddos."
"That is a matter of perspective, Civilian Davis."
"You can [] your perspective right up the []'s [] with a []!"
Davis' ears were buzzing with nervous energy. He was ready to fight. Ready to die.
And the []s wouldn't come! They were back to utter silence. Davis fidgeted, his crouched combat posture beginning to grow uncomfortable.
"What are you waiting for?!" he roared.
Silence responded.
Silence.
With a horrified jolt, Davis' eyes shot to his blaster. The weapon's soothing hum was fading out, the arcing plasma at its tip dying out. A drainer! The cowardly []!
With a desperate shout, the militiaman threw himself forward in a spring, a last banzai charge before he was wholly disarmed. He turned around the penultimate corner of the steep-walled ravine, firing a few shots at his assailants. The bolts sank into their energy drainer like paint in a drain. With hisses of compressed air, heavy webbing shot out at him locking his arms, then his legs, binding the man in a rapidly-stiffening polymer.
Davis wheezed and grew faint. His field of vision darkened and narrowed as his fetters crushed the air out of his lungs, then he thought no more.
Agricultural Infrastructure generates food equal to the planet's Agricultural Suitability per unit, with 1 food being necessary to sustain 1 population. Unlike other sorts of infrastructure production, food is not automatically shared across faction lines.
Faction lines means what? Does this mean that all food resources I raise are shared amongst my planets? Or that each planet has to raise its own food? Does food store and carry over to the next turn?
Cheers, B
Across factional lines - between players. Surplus food on any planet is simply shared among planets of the same affiliation, targeting all shortfalls equally (though of course none of you need worry about that yet). Of course, specific orders on how you want your food to be distributed, you yourself or to another, supersede that.
Update update: Working out some nonsensical areas of my Stability system. Should be up tomorrow, but by now you've probably realized just how binding my deadlines are. I believe I'm still missing orders from Lord of Elves, thomas.berubeg, and Popcornlord.
One week behind schedule. Orders due Friday evening.

Started off with the absolute smallest nation, you did. Now, having a fairly low population might actually help (having to build lots of food is certainly hurting Ouromov, at any rate), but otherwise you're furthest behind. Just picked the biggest hole to climb out of.
