I still have a couple of unanswered questions, some because I never got to formulate them...

The first owner of the bag was SoutherKing, in his kill writeup he was a famous florist but I got an herbalist bag... from a famous herbalist? What was up with that? Thanks god nobody reads the write-ups...

More important, what was going to happen with the bag if I was killed? It was going to pass down to another townie with the rest of the unused abilities, or the abilities were going to get changed or refilled?

And the most important question, do you guys had a genre?

So, guys, remember when I made that post that single-handedly destroyed my entire team? It's okay if you don't because it barely happened this year.

I really wish I had a counterargument there so I could tell you you're barking up the wrong tree, Verarde.

This wasn't a random defense, it was a random pun because Verarde said "wolf." What's more, I totally forgot Newyn was even on my team at the time.

Anyway, it looks like I called the mafiya. I accept cash, check, and Steam. Divinations have never been this cheap, you guys. Act while my supplies of chicken blood still last.

And here I was basically saying "oh cool, the mafiya, I figured they'd be in this game because it's in The East, isn't that neat," not "I killed Sam please murder me." If I ever did say "I killed Sam please murder me" there would be no subtext and it would obviously be a trap.

Only the original holder could get refills, but those happened only every few nights. After that, whatever was left would be handed out to people.

The Yakuza is an organisation of honourable individuals who engage in activities that are not always to other people's tastes. Especially, not to righteous people's tastes.
This means, unfortunately, that some people have to be… dealt with. In an appropriate, non-excessive manner.
Also, rival… business associations, of foreign origin.
A carefully selected four-man team has been deployed to the Takigahara Prefecture to deal with this problem, hopefully to Boss Pitsagai's satisfaction.

Ability: Suicide attack! Instead of that, one of you can choose to sacrifice himself to attack the enemy. This attack will be carried out after a brief ceremony and will include one TNT bundle in each hand. Success is more probable with this kind of attack than with a mere firearms attack.

A Mafia Game taking place in the East: Mafiya Team PM

Any organisation needs money. A certain entrepreneur, Maksim Nestorovich Kerner, was supposed to bring in fresh funds after liquidating an overseas operation. Now, as part of an operation to destroy all of you, which the people here seem to call 'law and order', Kerner has been detained at the airport, pending deportation to Vladivostok. Your new funds, required in order to continue expanding&#8230; frictionlessly, have not arrived. This means that pacific expansion is over. Usually, you simply paid some money over to the police, who were happy to fill in their quota of arrests with Yakuza members. Now, things are going differently. You can't pay off the police and you can't pay off the Yakuza. This means&#8230; war! Anything is better than being deported to Vladivostok!

The members of your outfit (those who are still free and alive) are:
Yuri (Snerk): the Leader. Yuri has one last scheme with which group makes money.
Sergei (Caelian): the Lancer. Sergei is loyal man who can wield guns efficiently.
Oleg (SamSniped): the Big Guy. You are Russian man, stronk like bear. You are only man who can wield rocket launcher. Rocket launcher is special weapon, which can destroy one person even if person wear bulletproof vest or cower behind flimsy wall. Rocket have good effects. But rockets scarce. You only have three rockets.
Tatyana (spaceman98): the Chick. an Ukrainian prostitute. She can spend night with any male clients (no Russian would do deviate acts). Her blue eyes, amazing bosom size and fantastic lingerie make for perfect distraction for Japanese man.

Scheme by Yuri consists in people distilling alcoholic beverages illegally. Every day, at least two of men have to stay inside and work distilling machinery. Women are not stronk enough to work machinery.
Money from alcohol sales does not manage to be sufficient for acquiring more heavy weaponry. But it manages to be enough for keeping supply of bullets and potatoes constant.

Team objective: Eliminate and/or outnumber all other factions.

A man who walks around in armour, wielding a katana, is a scary man. However, the law is very clear. No killing is allowed in Takigahara prefecture. Kin-jiru! Thus, your sword is made of rubber, and is practically harmless. But your armour and helmet, while identical to your family's precious heirloom, are made of very modern materials which can stand small arms' fire.

Ability: Charge! (active) Every night you can target one (1) other player. You will mount a fake charge with your sword at them, forcing them to abandon whatever they were doing. This will also have the effect of driving away anyone and everyone from their vicinity.
Ability: Armour (passive) you are impervious to small-arms fire.

came to Japan to study ninjutsu. Can 'Hide' behind another player (all other actions targetting her will be redirected onto the person she chooses)

You are Lady Adele Praline du Saint-Chateaux, Comtesse d'Échalote, French aristocrat and trained ninja.
As an aristocrat, you once wished to travel. In Japan, you discovered the secret arts of ninjutsu and, at the indication of Takisisu-sensei, the cat ninja, you joined the Red D&#333;j&#333;, led by wise master Shitashi.
Once there, you graduated with full honours. French ninja are said to be a thing of the future, operating restaurants in outer space. But this is here and this is now, and you have achieved it. You were spending your yearly vacation on Takigahara province, on lake Mizu'umi, when everyone started getting murdered. You tried to contact your superiors, but communications have been cut and all codes have been changed back at the d&#333;j&#333;. All you know is that there might be some help coming. Meanwhile, you will use your arts of stealth to see out this situation. Ninjutsu is still illegal in the prefecture, but that's only if you are caught.

Ability: art of concealment (active). Every night, you can target one (1) other player. All actions that target you will be redirected towards the person you are targetting.
This ability might change in the future.

Conglaturation honourable Tomoko-san! In the last episode of this adventure, you were assigned one final mission before graduation by your revered grandfather, Shitashi-dono, head of the Red D&#333;j&#333;. Ably assisted by the resourceful cat-ninja Takisisu-sensei, you managed to accomplish your mission. Sadly, your borther Sanjiro did not, and now he is nowhere to be seen. He did not return to the d&#333;j&#333;, so great was his shame, he did not even fly back with you to Japan.
Upon your return, at the d&#333;j&#333; you were received with honours and confirmed as having attained Beginner Ninja Rank of the Red D&#333;j&#333;.
This is your first full assignment. You have been assigned to Takigahara prefecture, the birthplace of dear Takisisu-sensei. Takigahara prefecture is a place infested by criminals. Crime is a stain on Japanese honour. Order is necessary for a society to grow and prosper. You have been assigned to infiltrate Takigahara city and, as a civilian -remember that ninjutsu is still officially illegal- aid the authorities in driving away all crime.
Another ninja, a former student at the Red d&#333;j&#333; a few years older than you, is in the city. Your most immediate orders is to find her. Unfortunately, she graduated the year before you joined the d&#333;j&#333;, so you two have never met. She is to be brought up to date. Give her the new codes.
Ability: Search (active) you can target one (1) other player each night. You will know if that person is your fellow ninja or not.

ALSO. In the last game, the Tomoko character was able to use abilities without being tracked or watched.
Now that your character has levelled up and is no longer an apprentice ninja, you can choose -every single night- whether you are using your abilities stealthily or not that night.

FACTION: Town.
PERSONAL GOAL: Find Praline, the other ninja. This is your overriding goal. After this is achieved, she will assume command and your active ability will change.
MAIN GOAL: Assist the town in defeating all their enemies. Law must prevail.

Incidentally, yes, you are the lady alluded to in the prelude.

* Yekaterina, traitor to the Russian Mafia
Murska

Yekaterina, you were prostitute smuggled from Vladivostok. You were drugged and sexually exploited for six months until police raids put all your captors in prison. You testified against Mafiya and are now free to live in Japan with legalised passport. You are grateful to Japan for freeing you from oppression. But you are poor and unskilled. You cannot contribute anything to police or to profitable trades, so you will do what you can. You only have your life left to give.

Ability: take ME instead! (active). Every night you can follow one player around. If they are attacked, you will take that attack for them, even if it costs you your life.

* Ankokuji Akemi, Florist/herbalist: bag of roles
SouthernKing

You are Ankokuji Akemi (82), most senior herbalist and florist of the city. The Florists Guild, alarmed by the possibility of the Flower Festival being cancelled, have appointed you as their agent in this matter. Several rare flowers, plants and herbs have been offered to you. After careful consideration, you have taken several, which you can use at night on other players, at the rate of one player other than yourself by night.

• incense (1×): the smell of it is so identifiable that you will be able to recognise wherever this person has gone.
• broc flower (1×): this flower has astounding healing properties. If a player has this used on them, and that player is attacked, that player will be cured of almost any wounds and poisons, but will be convalescent for the rest of the day.
• magnolia bloom (1×): whoever receives this flower will be so taken by its incomparable beauty that they will be unable to emit valid votes the following day.
• red rose (1×): the beauty of this other flower, on the other hand, will be noticed immediately and that person will spend the night gazing at its impossible beauty.
• garlic (1×): Imported from Korea, this is such a strong-smelling variety that whoever goes near the target that night will be impregnated with their odour. You will be able to smell it on whomever has targeted them last night.

Alternatively, Revered Mistress, you might choose to exchange one of the above flowers for another at a fellow herbalist's. To do so, you must announce to me that in the following phase (not the current one, during which you are doing the announcement) you will do that. If the phase during which you are performing the exchange is a Day Phase, you will not be allowed to vote; if the phase is a Night Phase, you will not be allowed to take any Night Actions during that phase.
Unfortunately, the broc flower is quite rare and you have the only one in all of Japan.
(Example a: on Day Three you announce to me that you intend to exchange one of your Garlic for one Purple flower. During Night Four you will not be able to use any Actions and at the end of Night Four you will have two Purple flowers and zero Garlics.
Example b: On night Eight you announce to me that you intend to exchange one of your Purple flowers for one Incense. During Day Nine you won't be able to cast votes -don't vote or even use Finger of Suspicion, and at the end of Day Nine you will have only one Purple flower and +1 Incense.)
Every six days, your stocks will be replenished. But you can't have more than five Items in all.

You have been assigned a particular mission. You are posing as a recently-transferred member of the Police Department.
Japanese ninjas and Yakuza have been causing lots of havoc in Korea, as well as causing trouble for Korean tourists in Japan. Because of this, you have been assigned to destroy those organisations in their own country.
Ostensibly, you are to help them catch all criminals, which is fine by you. But your real Victory condition is to have all ninjas and Yakuza eliminated. You do not know anything about how to catch a ninja, but you are an expert in the Yakuza and have been assisting the police in this matter already, you are highly valued by the T&#333;ky&#333; Police.

You are S&#333;ji, a ninja from the Mountain D&#333;j&#333;, on permanent station at the Takigahara Prefecture. Recently, a rising wave of crime has been taking place in the prefecture, but this has proven to be beneath your skill level. None of these brawlers and amateurs can even inconvenience you. However, during the confusion, you were shocked, shocked, I say, to find out that another d&#333;j&#333;'s operatives are also on this city. You immediately contacted your superiors for instructions on how to proceed. You have been ordered to -while still keeping a low profile- eliminate all threats. This means that all other Ninjas and all foreigners must be eliminated.

Abilities (active): Although resupplying is difficult, being so far from your d&#333;j&#333;, your specialised gear allows you to engage in several types of mission by night.

• Smoke-bomb (1×): you or another player will be untargettable for the night.
• Kunai (3×): you can use these to attempt the assassination of another player by night. It's hit-or-miss, so you don't get them back!
• Trip-wire (2×): anyone can fall over these. Set them in their path to prevent them from taking any Night Actions.
• Caltrops (2×): set these in anyone's doorway while they're away! Upon their return home, they'll be prevented from voting the following day, because of their injuries.

Ability: bamboo armour (passive, 1×). Once in the game, you can survive any and all attacks on you made that night using small arms.

Victory Condition: All Ninja (save yourself) and Foreigner players are Dead. When such a condition is met, you will simply melt back into the population and disappear among random NPCs. Oh, and you will be awarded a VICTORY.

BSmith1068, Legato Endless, WinterLilium, johnhughthom, Riedquat, TFT, and Sprig were all vanilla townies, all of them eligible for inheriting the bag of roles.
