A NESers Civ4 Mod? Or At Least Just Playing With The Thought

The idea has been proposed by me once, and the fact that I myself am terrible with Civ4 modding aside, it would be a fun thing to do. It would be based upon the Civ4 regular engine, but instead of the Civ4 civilizations, we would have NESer civilizations instead.

Generally, your personal civ would be lead by you as your leaderhead. However, I'm going ahead of myself; the following would be the format of the eventual mod.

The Leaderhead

Leader: Yea, your account name goes here.
Traits: Here goes the two traits of your leader. The traits are listed below:

Aggressive
Free Combat I promotion of melee and gunpowder units. Double production speed of Barracks and Drydock.
Charismatic
+1 happiness per city; -25% XP needed for unit promotions; +1 happiness from Monument, Broadcast Tower.
Creative
+2 culture per city. Double production speed of Library, Theatre, Coliseum.
Expansive
+2 health per city. Double production speed of worker, granary, and harbor.
Financial
+1 commerce on plots with 2 or more.
Imperialistic
+100% Great General emergence; 50% faster production of settlers.
Industrious
Wonder production increased 50 percent. Double production speed of Forge.
Organized
Civic upkeep reduced 50 percent. Double production speed of lighthouse, courthouse, and factory.
Philosophical
+100% Great Person birth rate. 2x University production speed.
Protective
Archery and Gunpowder units receive Drill I and City Garrison I automatically; Double production speed of Walls and Castle.
Spiritual
No anarchy from civics or religion changes. Double production speed of temples.

The leaderhead should represent your NESing style as specifically as possible, directly or indirectly; charismatic might represent you as a good diplomat while aggressive is for warmongers, imperialistic is obvious, creative is for storyists and people who care about culture, etc. etc. :)

Now, the second important issue. Your CIVILIZATION. I believe that each leaederhead should be represented by an appropriate civilization that could show the "peak" of the NESer's abilities; Fx. Crezth's France in ABNW. LINES II must have lots of those heyday nations that players would approve of representing their NESing 'careers'.

Civilization: The civilization name.
Colour: Duh. Doesn't necessarily count on the original colour of the civ.

Unique Unit: A unit that represents the civilization's strength or military; for example, inspired from N3S, the Satar might have an improved Horse Archer, while the Krato have excellent War Elephants, the Hu'ut (:)) have a powerful Chariot, and the Trilui have perhaps an improved Work Boat to show their naval trading skills (Ok then, a basic Galley UU might matter as well, but I needed to show something that wasn't military).
Unique Building: A building/construction that represents the civilization in some other way; the Faron might have a Theater building, while the Trilui had some sort of trading post, or an improved Lighthouse.

I would personally prefer sticking to 'regular' NESes to keep stuff in flavor.

Hmm...considering I've only had two NESes that have gone a significant amount of time, ABNW1 & 2, and NEB1, I have a limited selection, but of the two, my Red Crusade of NEB1 is my favorite, so I'll go with that.

Hmm, your right...

UU: Impi, a formation of highly diciplined and trained troops. (Replaces Axeman, +1 movement, can use the Flanking line, has Flanking 1)
UB: Great Barracks (+4 Experiance, when you have slavery you can use 1 Population for 1 random base unit with the promo Slaves (-20% Str, +10% experiance, so show their ambition after they actually have a victory.))

That's where the Imperial Republic is from. It was glorious, by realistically frustrating BirdNES standards.
