A New Dawn Beta Builds

But it only takes like, 10-15 minutes with a torrent.

Some folks' Internet Providers disallow torrent traffic on their network (e.g. university networks). One can guess that this is the case for the fellow above.

Ask Killtech about that one. He do the part for building upgrade paths.

Asking :)

Also I'm wondering what happened to watermills? They don't provide :hammers: anymore. Really, if you don't study the forum day by day, hour by hour, one would be surprised what features you'd get  Watermills were overpowered, I agree, that is why I miss them :)

The process of balancing the game seems to be never-ending job anyway :)

Actually, I think before, it was too fast. Now it move about right. I'm in late 900s/1875 (Marathon speed) and I'm in middle/late Industrial era now.

Yeah, I agree. It was observation rather, than a complaint.

To me, the opposite :).

Ah, diversified world :mischief:

A more detailed changelog would be nice.

One thing i have noticed lately also is, if you have on Automate units, it takes aloooot longer for each turn, right now i have 10 automated and it is taking way more time than it should, just an observation is all. Plus some of them dont leave your borders?

So? Then don't automate them. It is just a cost of doing business with automated units. Also click on Quick Moves in CTRL+O can maybe make it a little faster. Not much. But I simply don't care about slowness in my own turn because it just save my energy for larger picture. I'm sitting here planning on how to conquer my cities, build my economy, and be smart diplomatically because now I'm no longer burdened with tiny border defense jobs or looking for small bands of annoying barbarians. My units are doing just fine as long as I pump out enough numbers that go out patrolling. So, yeah, I pay the price of slowness of my turns. So? Either don't use Automated that much or suck it up :).

OK

btw i took all the automated ones off of it and it still has longer turn times, so its either "Larger City" or "Advanced Espionage" that is doing it.

So in essence of what you are saying (i dont want to be petty but i guess i will) is that dont put dont down your Observations or ideas, and "just suck it up." You always have to comment on my stuff, do you have an anger management problem:mwaha:? :joke::trouble: Pls quit on this subject, thx.;)

Huh? Wow, don't project please. I wasn't mad in any way. I was simply asking "So?" :)

@os79

You may have meant nothing by it, but unfortunately it comes across as cavalier and a put down. I reacted the same as strategy did when I read it.

So? Then don't automate them.
As does this one. Maybe you should read your posts back to yourself before you submit?

We all have an interest here. And as relationships thru postings develop then it can become a bit more relaxed. So if you and strategy are on a solid footing with each other then the "Huh? Wow, don't project please." response from you would not have been necessary to even say.

But we are all human and we all react to a response, even to the "supposedly" unemotional typed word.

Have a Nice day. ;)

Really? Is that so? You can't provide inflections by, perhaps, using the bolding or italicizing? Are you that slow?

^ No offense intended, just a demonstration of how one can set the mood. :D. Emoticons work too.

The graphic for mines becomes tiny in the medieval era, then returns to normal scale when I reach the Renaissance. And I can't build orchards at all. I'm using Beta 5 with every option checked on the installer and I can provide a save if it makes any difference.

Also no ctd's yet!

yeah, I was looking for a reply to your previous message too.... guess you could let me know :)
