A New Dawn Beta Builds

I got a CTD constantly when load this save on revision 112. The crash is in the Civ4BeyondSword.exe, so it can't be traced.

BTW, I found that the invalid revolution event bug of changing leader is still there. did the revolution team not fix it yet?

Don't worry about it, I suspect it's from the merge from BBAI mod, so I'm reverting to rev 99 soon.

They have been MIA lately.
 
Status update on 1.73beta. I've successfully reverted back to rev 99, while keeping my personal AI changes. I need to fix the bug where military units are bought and sold for too much, and fix the Battlefield Promotions and Lead by Noble bug, and do a few other things with housekeeping. Possibly a release late this evening, but more likely tomorrow.

Nice symmetry. Your announcement about reverting back to revision 99 coincide with the page 99 of this thread :lol:.

Good news to me, I just finished my previous game which started at 2 month ago, and very excited to play your new version with personality map. ( And where is it now? I can't see its option in the custom game options. ) But very sadly I got a CTD soon after a few rounds T_T. I'll check it up this evening or tomorrow. ( This midday or evening for me? :P )
 
And one thing I almost forgot, when turn on the airbase range limit option, it should be non-limit after the Supersonic Flight had been researched. It did work after researched that tech, but if I reloaded the save again, there's still range limit for air transport, even the Supersonic Flight had been researched.

It happend at the previous game of revision 99 ( perhaps, I forgot, sorry. ) I'm not sure whether it exists in the latest version.
 
Afforess, I like your new additions to Advanced Diplo. However, I want to personally remove this feature, trading units. It don't play right in my game (India repeatedly try to sell me Philosophy and 60 gold for my Ancient Cannon that I am ABSOLUTELY NOT interested in selling because it is for war use :).

So can you please tell me how to remove this one feature only so that I can play with AD still :)?

EDIT: My game is Revision 116. No CTDs so far, so is playing it :D.

Personalized Maps? It's still in Dev. You can mess with it in the Afforess_Civ4GameOptionInfos.xml

Yeah, I already found and fixed that bug, I forgot to save that variable.

I am a bit confused on Great Commanders. I have a great leader from combat. This unit has been tagging along with my main invasion force for some time now, but yet has not had the opportunity for promotion. Its been listed at CR: 1 CP: 5/5 for many many turns of combat.

Do I need to do something specific?

By the way, this mod is without a doubt amazing! Even looking at Civ5 I see things from this that I wish they would incorporate. Its like a brand new game. If only it were faster, but I know that is not really a problem with the mod itself. Hell I have been considering a full on new PC just so I can run ROM and AND at its fullest. :)

*crosses fingers* Yeah its a pain in the butt crashing all the time. Its made the game un-playable.

What version are you using? I know older versions had a bug where GC's stopped working after saving.
 
If you are waiting for 1.73beta3, stick around, I'm testing an install right now...
 
Okay, 1.73beta3 is out!

It's not that different from 1.72b, except that it's using the older Better AI, which should make it stable again. Everything else was just updating from other modders.
