You know what townies are doing right now? Lynch landlubber, then lynch pizza. That's natural. It's wrong but it's natural.

landlubber has really been off this entire game; I really don't see why it's necessarily wrong. This also coming from the man who was saying how bigtin was not mafia.

I was the first to point out NinjaCow was acting like a total scumbag, and why. I didn't vote for him but my accusation was sound. That is what led to half the mafia team going down, regardless of how I voted.

I think it's funny how I've used that exact post to describe how you are much scummier than townies who said the exact same thing before you.

If BSmith survives another few rounds, ask why the mafia are letting him live after nobody in their right mind wants to lynch him and he's helped lynch two mafia. Here's a clue: There's 4 mafiosi so after NinjaCow was a lost cause, BSmith distanced himself from both BigTin and NinjaCow.

How are you going to differentiate between all the landlubber voters in a few rounds? How will you decide who is acting scummy when you're all acting the same way?

I'm pointing out to you who is acting wrong, regardless of how they're voting. Pay attention to that stuff because you're going to make zero progress until you do.

none of the three posted, but only 2 were wogged.

Also like all of the kills have been org based, so I'd suspect a newer cfc player who is more familiar with the org to be doing some of the suggestions.

Really, when landlubber was the only one being voted, you started posting like a... a madman, begging people not to vote for you... That is insane. So, either you are a mad mafioso or a mad townie.

Welcome to our world. Here's the thing, though; this is ATPG's TOWNIE mode. As mafia, he acts like a normal townie, like how you act when you're a townie, or how I act. When he's town, he does this. To quote the man himself, he tries to be "the biggest pain in the ass to the mafia" when he's town. This is precisely what he's doing here. He doesn't do this as mafia. So, my recommendation is, after I'm lynched today, which we all know is going to happen, listen to him. Please. Hidden in between those disturbing messages about signatures and horse manure is a solid case against Mergle. Don't believe me?
In Capo di Tutti Capi 4, the legendary 100+ players mafia game, I was mafia, and was called out quite early for posting nothing but what Renata referred to as "townie camouflage." I was posting nothing but mindless, near-nonsensical posts in an effort to appear genuinely overwhelmed by the scope of the game. My thought process jumped around just like Mergle's, because, from my perspective, that's how I would have acted as town. Right? Wrong.
If I was town, I would be making an effort to actually play the game. I would be analyzing people and trying to find scumtells in their posts, because that's what people do as town. Don't deny that. This is your first game, Joan. Isn't that what you're trying to do? You've been trying to make sense of ATPG's posts, haven't you? Whereas Mergle is trying to come off as the confused, victimized good guy. Town doesn't do that. What town does is provide a decent defense, then go right back to hunting scum. Some people aren't naturally good at hunting scum (myself included in this group) but don't underestimate what a good read-through of the thread will do for you.
So, after I'm lynched, you have two options. Listen to the person who's done the most for the town, the person who's made one of the best cases this game, the person who's obviously exploding with anger that no one is really listening to him, the person who's very obviously playing in his townie mode. Or, lynch that person.

Here's my line of thinking.

I DID read all of that, and I'm ninety per cent convinced. The other ten percent is deeply suspicious. Either ATPG is mafia, or our best bet is to believe him.

Believing him is two lynches.
Lynching him is one.

We have to look into one of these first. The case on ATPG is advanced enough to go through.

And then we can see how the tortoise flips, and choose our path accordingly.

I like adapting.

I certainly hope anyone lynching atpg genuinely believes he is scum and/or is lynching him for defense of bigtin and distancing himself from ninjacow. I still think the best way to find the scum is by looking for the hesitant-mafia-partner relations (I'm not convinced people bussed so early, such as bsmith).

Landlubber falls in that category. Bigtin certainly did. Zack had mixed results (fell in that category on bigtin's big day, but also showed enough signs of not being in that category). ATPG does.

Mergle voted for bigtin when it was 4-2 bigtin:bsmith vote ratio. Bigtin immediately posted after saying he was being lynched for trying to play the game as a townie.

Okay, so this could be my last post of the game. In summary, for those of you who find me verbose and annoying, yet townie:


1) BSmith's actions would look quite heroic if it weren't for the extremely scummy timing of each move. To try to make his case against me look very serious and exciting just as NinjaCow is drowning in his own milk, that rubs me the wrong way, and then to join that wagon at precisely the right moment to re-tie it up and point a big finger of suspicion at BigTin, that's a big moo-moo. I mean no-no.

2) Mergle, for the timing of this post which I pointed out was out of place. Oh sorry I'm joining the game now, let me vote on the wrong bandwagon, hope no one notices how scummy this is.

3) Some mafioso bussed NinjaCow, if it wasn't BSmith. Look at the later votes for Ninja, not the first 3-4.

4) Maybe Joecoolyo. OMGUS and all that. Not very strong on this.

Today was an interesting day. After General Olaf changed his vote, there was a tie between ATPG and Landlubber. Michael went away for a sort time to pray to the RNG Gods about who to lynch, and their choice was Askthepizzaguy. ATPG went to the gallows, and was lynched. It was also discovered that LordNwahs had also abandoned the town, and left for the desert. The town went to bed, very dismayed over the number of people who had abandoned them.

anyways, I would like everyone (or anyone active/has the time) if they want to do a rundown of active players.

1) General Olaf- pretty big case against bigtin; I don't particularly think he is scum due to the timing of that. It'd be really dedicated to make a case against bigtin like that (2nd vote for bigtin).
2) DaveShack- late to the bigtin party, plays on the org, no vote on ninjacow.
5) Verarde- well, third for bigtin, so pretty early on that party.
6) Mergle- voted when it was 4:2 bigtin:bsmith ratio.
7) landlubber- I've already elaborated my thoughts a lot on him
10) choxorn- third for ninjacow, but ever since he (accidentally) voted his teammate cdpwane and got him lynched in a NotW a while back as mafia I have to be a bit reserved with him. He can be a dedicated busser.
12) Kennigit- me; think I showed signs of townieness (I know I'm townie,
13) BSmith1068- really led the lynch on bigtin; really dedicated bussing if mafia
15) Jarrema- voted kinda late for ninja but i in the same post said he agreed to bsmith's FoS on bigtin explicitly. Although his posts seems scum to me recently, it'd be a pretty dedicated double-bus to not only vote for bigtin but to actively encourage bsmith to pursue a simple FoS.
19) Joecoolyo- similarly nothing.
20) JoanK- tough to tell.
22) Darth Caesar- pretty inactive but a fairly early enough vote for ninja and did vote for bigtin (late). would be a double-buser.
23) Yoshiegg737- has posted 3 times; very late vote on bigtin, could easily be scum.

had to rush this last bit as I got to go, but the pool of Daveshack, landlubber, joecoolyo, mergle are best pool to find partners as a busser would have been really dedicated.
