If you want to still play the mod waiting for BNW and the release of the source code, you should put steam in offline mode ASAP to prevent the automatic patching of the game, there is a strong probability that the mod's DLL will not be compatible with the new game's EXE.

You mean the patch from today (with the MP updates/fixes etc etc), or the release of BNW update for Civ5 ? :)

The patch from today. They are following the same procedure as with G+K: first a patch to make the EXE (which is common to all version) compatible with all features of the new expansion, then the release of the expansion itself.

That patch is not compatible with the mod's DLL.

Oh crap, mines allready updated :(

Guess I'll see what happens next time I have time for some Civ5 with your mod, will report back ofcourse :)

Sorry, I meant to make this thread before, and didn't realize that BNW release date was already next week. I also would have preferred 2KGames to warn us more than 24h before the patch...

With some luck the source will be quickly available, I'll update ASAP. (and from the release date of the code, I expect "ASAP" to be the same day)

I've stated in other threads that BNW was one of the reason of the slowed development: I didn't see the point to code new things that could be broken with the new version and need to be coded again. And I do hope that code changes in the common EXE may fix the convoy bug (yeah, I'm the optimist kind)

unless dramatic change, nothing.

I'll just have to change the initialization a bit for users that will have BNW installed.

cool, so then we can begin work on 'Scorched Earth/Sonnenblume/Modest Eastern Seaboard Annexed by UK/Some functional Generals'???

:)

Mine updated before i read this oh well...

How long do you think before there will be a fix to work with this new update cause i love this mod its just great.

Next week I hope...
