Just remember that you'll have to keep someone in the system to man the gates, otherwise you won't be able to communicate to scouts heading further out.

This looks really fun.

Just a quick question, how fast do you expect the game to start for real? I know the main thread is up, but when would you expect orders? I'm rather tied up for a few days ahead now...

There will be an Update 0 early tomorrow (assuming Cleric and Disen and maybe others manage to fill in their templates by then) and then the first "real" update will be within a week. Deadline Thursday-Friday-ish. If you're feeling busy, scribble down the short template and pick only one trait, post orders like "expand, build infantry and research drones" in the thread, and I'll try to take care of it for you. In the early game, I'll be a bit lenient with fixing things that way.
