King Llywelyn finds it perplexing that you do not wish to improve our nations for our common people by engaing in such a generous offer of trade between us and, hopefully, the rest of Wales. He also feels mildly insulted at your response; we shall remove any of our diplomats lying in your nation immediately, and hope that you may one day change your mind and come to our door, for it is always open. Until then, as our faith instructs, we shall treat you as you treat us. Goodbye.

OOC: I'll get that siggy and avatar soon. :D

P.S: I didn't realize there were so few player controlled Welsh nations. Gahhh!!

P.P.S: You missed putting Luitcoyt, Buellt, and Dal Raida in bold on the update. :P

Brcheiniog has shown its true colors. It is a threat to our security and stability. Its leaders are not true Christians, nor are they to be considered Welshmen. This threat must be eliminated, and it must be eliminated now. Will you join us in this endeavor?

We believe your proposal is all ready undertaken within our own, which you accepted previously. We will not accept redundant agreements, as they have no purpose.

And now time for some slaughter. I needed a war to propel my story regardless, and perhaps now I'll get something worthwhile from that slavery tech...

Nice update, by the way. Very concise.

We need not be told of redundant agreements with such tone; our message was not as much a proposal as it was a notification.

Brycheiniog has done nothing to assure us that they are a threat to our kingdoms safety and stability. They lie directly to our south; if they indeed were a threat, my King would be greatly concerned. For their own reasons they have denied a reasonable and generous proposal of trade, as to why, my Lord knows not. Yet this does not mean they are not of our common blood. I feel bringing war to our nations at this time will bring great instability between our lands, and I do not wish for my people to question why I would wage war against another of not only our kind, but of our faith. It is infact your proposal for immediate and total war which unnerves me.

If they would have attacked you, then I would have unselfishly come to your aid. This is not the case, and unless a similar circumstance arrises, or if they distance themselves far too much from what we all share in common.. there is no true cause for war.

My King asks, for the safety of our relations, you do not go to war with them, and if you allow it, we would like to continue this conversation in a more private chamber.

Mercy? You beg for mercy? Very well. I am a generous man and I cannot hold you responsible for the foolhardiness of your father. You will submit to me as my vassal and shall pledge yourself to my service and I shall allow you what remains of your lands and forces. You shall pay me tribute and fight for me at my call. This is a kind offer, and I expect loyalty for loyalty will be rewarded, however should you reject this offer or betray me you shall suffer terribly. You have been warned.

We regret to inform you that our own borders are threatened, and as such our military response must be directed at the enemies of Circind for now. However, if we can spare aid we shall, and as our victory becomes more apparent we shall send greater help.

My brothers! I have visited various Welsh kingdoms, bringing grand news from King Llywelyn! We are developing two projects, one which is a massive and improved road infrastructure, which will help to facilitate trade within our various nations. The other.. a market so grand, that it shall dwarf any other trading place for many years to come. And seeing that I believe every Welshman to be my friend, I come to propose that we all open trade relations between our nations. Let our merchants flow freely to each other's lands, and as they come to pass the crossroads of my great nation, they shall have much to trade. Consider my offer, and when it is complete, I shall inform you all. Our wealth will propel our kingdoms into a golden age!

OOC: For the love of GodBeutýdth...

@Abaddon
I was not the only one to expand at fall as said in the orders to make sure I got the said area near Deira first? I don't know that of course, but I feel that I'm cheated upon if he didn't state the exact time when he would invade the area. Appearantly my free slaves to nobles event were not succesful either? How come? It wasn't even mentioned in the update (You mentioned slavery, but that was slavery costing money. These slaves were gifts).

Burn in hell you lucky bastard. I will not succumb to that puny army of yours.

How about we come to an agreement about an equitable division of Lindsey and her wealth. There's three of us and Lindsey is rather weakened now.

OOC: If they don't border Lindsey i'm willing to provide a sum of monies in recompense.

@LJ. I'm sorry this update must be pretty sucky for you, but its how it was. Both of you gave directions to expand at the same time, into the same area. Deira had a much greater force to capture the land, paid more money into logisitics etc. You were very close to going to battle with them! (but for a dice roll) An a few free slaves arn't really going to do much. Sure some nobles liked you a bit more, but anything postive was more than outweighed by the main battle and the land you have lost.
