IHT: Good to see that we have Printing Press at first. Even better is that Greece has 1500 gold to spare

We have no saltpeter, from the map that is revealed I see that England has two. But it is not for sale.
Greece gives us 1280 gold for Printing Press and contact with the Germans. The Maya give 154 gold and 26 gpt for PP and contact with America.
I build an embassyin Hattusas (Hittites) for 120 gold. The city has 6 entertainers and it's starving

An embassy with the Maya reveals that they have Sistine in 19. An embassy in Berlin is 43 gold.
I switch Seoul from Cathedral to Sistine, as a prebuild for Smith, Magellan.... Research to Banking at 90% (in 7).
IT: P'yongyang, Hyangsan: university->knight.
Turn 1 (370 AD) Banking now in 5.
IT: Ulsan: temple->university. The Chinese start the Knights Templar. The Greeks start Copenicus.
Turn 2 (380 AD) Only the Greeks know Astronomy atm.
IT: Cheju: aquaduct->university.
Turn 3 (390 AD) The Maya have knowledge of Astronomy as well.
IT: Chonju: pike->courthouse.
Turn 4 (400 AD) Science to 80%, banking still in 2.
IT: Tokch'on: library->worker. Maya start Cops.
Turn 5 (410 AD) No other knows Banking at the moment
IT: Banking comes in. Research to Economy at 90%. Smith will give us a Golden Age. Wonsan: aquaduct->university. Pusan: temple->library. Inch'on: library->marketplace. Chong'fu: pike->library. Germany starts Leo.
Turn 6 (420 AD) knights are switched to banks. Imho our order of buildings are now Library, university, market, bank, units.
Greece found the secret of Music Theory. I sell Banking for Astronomy and 1080 gold. The Maya can only give Music Theory and 20 gpt. Not enough in my eyes.
IT: England demands Gems and I say no. They back down. Greece and Maya start Bach.
Turn 7 (430 AD) The Maya have Banking. I should have taken the 20 gpt
IT: The Germans want us out of their lands. They also start the Knights Templar.
Turn 8 (440 AD) Irrigation towards the SW part of our empire is started. I give Greece 155 goold for Gems.
IT: Taejon: courthouse->aquaduct. Paegam: courthouse->university.
Turn 9 (450 AD) Greece knows Chemistry now.
IT: Pusan: library->market.
Turn 10 (460 AD) Science to 70%. Economy still in 2.
The Hittites have Chemistry but lack Banking and Astronomy

I seel Banking and Astronomy to the Hittites for Chemistry and 12 gpt.
I suggest to keep Economics secret to all until we have Smith and our Golden Age. We can check every turn if one of the AI is coming close to discovering it themselves. Their price for the tech will then be lower than usual. We should try to find cities with harbors on the other continent, which will allow us to trade with them.
This may be going smoothly at the moment, but what happens when we appear to be lacking vital resources? This could still turn into a difficult game.
Example: we can't get a Hwach'a because we lack Saltpeter.
