Age of Colonisation

I have made some changes to the Mod. FIRST I have added the Hapsbourg civ and I have eliminated the Hungarians. SECOND I have modified a little the map, adding a new LM terrain removing a lot of Volcanoes to avoid the passage of units. I have used Embryodead's Landmark Terrain. So there are some changes but only in the BIQ and in the Text, it's not a very unpgrading. I add here (and not in the first post) the changes, so there is someone that want to test it, he can :)

ATTENTION! Due the changes in the terrain rules (added landmark terrain by Embryodead) the BIQ do not contain the resources. So please not download it until I post a new and correct version. SORRY!

Well, RF this are the problems. For the first question, I dont' have to make a decision, even if I personally prefer the Swahili City States.

For the second question the problem is that after Charles V the Hapsburg Empire was split in two parts. So I change Hungary with Hapsburg but maintain Spain. This is an hard work because I have to change all the units, text files and so on. I will make the changes in the next days. ;)

What I was referring to was that you mentioned before you were runing out of Unit to add for Civ's in India and Africa.
I had suggested looking at the following :goodjob: Scenarios:
The Desert and the Mountain - Empires of Africa by Plotinus.
The Rise & Fall of The Mughals by Rambuchan.
All I wanted to know was you had found anything that could be of :) use in the Scenario.

I know well the two mods you told. I have plundered both a lot. But the Desert Mod have some units that I have not used, and in addition there are some archer units from Plotinus that I would love use in my Mod :) .
 
It's hard to believe that you used :crazyeye: all the units in Rambuchan's and Plotinus Mods.

Not ALL units, but all that match the age of my Mod. From Rambuchan's Mod I have used 33 units from a total of 54! Not all units are unique for the Mod, for example Fluyt, Crossbowman, Firelancer, East Indiaman, Reuua and so on, but these units are in my Mod. So in Plotinus' Mod there are some units that I have not yet used and I think is possible to put in a Swahili City States civ.;)
interesting to note that I have founded some beautiful Indian units from R8XFT's Mod Anno Domini.
 
I think that is more simple to add a starting culture of 10 and add a church,

No but culture flipping is rather non existant at this time period.
 
Are you going to want to make some units only buildable in some spots (like say, canadian infantry or something)? Because if so, I suggest checking out El Justo's Age of Imperialism mod (1895-1919).

Thanks Dominatrix. I have used a system to make some units buildable only in some spot. For example Colonial Spearman, Colonial Archer and Colonial Swordsman ca built only in cities near an idden resource called "Colony", so for African Colonial Infantry and African Slaves.
 
Now I'm working to add the new units (American Natives) from Sandris in my Mod. I'm waiting the second chapter, and when it come I want correct the Japanese Tech Tree and upload a new version of the Mod on the first post. I'm also working to others changes to the game's mechanism.

The way El Justo does it is that he disallows water and air trade and puts impassable tiles anywhere he doesn't want resources to circulate. It also reduces game loading time by up to 700%.:crazyeye:
 
well, about the map of the Habsburg
i know that the Habsburg dominate the Netherlands, but, with the abidication of Charles V, the Netherlands have started a revolt against the spanish. So, the Netherlands HAVE to have it own reign

So, i have looked the map again and i have a idea xD
maybe later the MOD have been complete, i download it and make this like an sub-MOD =D
 
AAARGHH! STOP TO ALL! In the post n.241 I have attached a new version of BIQ and the related new Text folder, but in the BIQ there is a great mistake. I have changed the terrain rules in order to utilize the landmark terrain by Embryodead, but I have forget to add the resources. So if you dowloaded the BIQ there is no one resource. I will update as soon as possible the BIQ to include all the resources needed. SORRY!

Oh, I have tried to post a new thread for my Mod to Storm Over Civilization, but a message says that I dont'have the privilege to post it.:confused:
