I searched this up after watching an episode of Animal Cops on Animal Planet.

Pretty extreme but also very common where I live. Nothing as bad as the cases noted but it does get annoying when a lot of your neighbors own 6 or 7 uneutered cats each like in my neighborhood.

The Tampa Bay 'Catman' lived on a floating raft with a collection of twenty to thirty cats for many years.
Im fairly certain thats the single funniest sentence Im going to read here today.

I wish I hadn't been consuming a Coca-Cola while I was reading that.

There are a crapton of stray cats where I live, and I hate cats. It started out with about three cats, now they are all over my town. The cats are taking over.

Be thankful. With all the research we're doing on mice (implanting human stem cells, researching life extension technologies, etc.), we'll need a natural predator for mice when they decide to take over.

Captains Log: We lost Mr Fuzzies today to a large wave that sent him over the side and down to Davy Jones Locker. He was a good seacat, and thought highly of by the crew. Ive ordered an extra ration of milk for all paws in hopes of raising morale. Miss Sweety Whiskers appointed boatswain in Fuzzies place. The sea is a harsh mistress.

Luckily, cats can't see color, so they can't tell which of them are wearing the Red Shirts. That's gotta help moral.

Yea, we get stuck with this even if you don't want a cat. You hate cats, don't move to our area. We had lived in our house for less than half a year and the next thing you know, 5 cats move into our area and started having kittens. At one point we had 12 cats, 3 adults and 9 kittens. We still have one of the originals, but the rest we either given away, killed, or just moved away. We currently have four around our house, one is really nice, she would make a great house cat, and the other three haul a$$ whenever they catch a glimpse of you.

Often a large cat collection has an overpowering odour and the smell gives it away. Police were giving chase to a suspect when they encountered a very strong smell emanating from a nearby residence. Investigation revealed 270 cats in the home; 58 of these were dead in the freezer along with a possum, a dove, a squirrel, a pigeon and several rabbits.
 :rotfl:
I like cats and even gave a stray one some tuna once, but this is just mad. A possum in the fridge? :crazyeye:

Captains Log, Kitty Date 2005 AMF (After Mr Fuzzies): [what you said]...

This must have been a CATastrophe. I wonder what the CATalyst for Ailurophilia is? I wonder if there is a cult or group for people like this, they could have their religious center be CATmandu (I know it's spelled with a 'K' and not a 'C'). I bet they wouldn't buy a car unless it had a CATalytic converter. They must also use CATerers quite often. OK I'll stop.

They could just be followers of the Egyptian God Bast, the cat headed sun goddess.

I have also found that the cats that roam around our house are anti-social. Whenever another cat comes close to the eldest one to rub up against him or something, she (the elder) hits the younger one in the face with her paw and does a sort of growl. And they are terrified by my little dog, he's the same size as they are, and he gets all excited and wants to play with them and the cat just tries to get away from him. My dog wouldn't hurt them, I have never seen him even make an attempt to hurt the cats when they get together. My dog apparently loves the cats, because when you say "Go see the kitty's" he takes off downstairs and looks out the windows and barks at the them (he also scratches at the screen).

I wonder if Narz has a little of this? He always has a cat in his avatar.

Why do all these cat hoarders seem to have a single malnourished dog aswell?
