Alexander the Great Scenario: Help!

Kryten, Mongoloid Cow and Realn are currently working on the scenario, but it was scheduled for last year, and progress has virtually come to a halt since the pioneer of the scenario, Exsanguination, quit. They obviously need help.

Please help them, if you want to see a scenario about Alexander the Great. The latest news and the place where the "development" goes on, is below:

We'd appreciate any help we can get. Unfortunately Kryten has had to pretty much single-handedly carry the burden of the creation of the project by himself since Exsanguination left.

I am still OK to do it though but I need to know what map to do exactly beforehand !

I think it was because he went to College. But that hasn't stopped me

He made a mistake closing the cfc threads. Recruitment has almost ended and the "Current" Forum is almost dead. When the old CFC threads were open, the scenario moved like a rocket.

I've e-mailed Kryten to assist in helping all you would-be volunteers out. I hope he responds, but he has an unfortunate habit of ignoring things

I might help a bit, if there is a need for some simple, non human units, but I don't have a lot of time, as School and SOE takes up most of my time

Well then we need Kryten to open up a new thred on the topic, Kryten because:
A) he is one of the most recognized unit makers out there
B) he has one of the most unique avatars(O.K thats not a real reson, but you must admit its unique, and i've wonderd for a while where he got it...)
C) even with relaativley few posts, he's high profile, most CFCers know of him, and a thred post by him would get a lot of attention.
(sorry calgacus, i feel that a lot of people look at your threds more cause of subject matter than relative popularity, though i dont mean this offensive in any way, you tend to be a rock in debate, and that is not nessisarilly the best trait for them)

Xen, I have no problem with what you suggest. I'm not particularly sure where your 2 posts were coming from. The reason I opened the thread is because the Scenario needs help.

I'm not quite sure why you speak of popularity.

Did I offend you in some debate somewhere? I tend to be very contrary and I never like a debate unless I'm outnumbered at least 5-to-1. But I have many of these debates. I can't remember exactly where I might have caused you offense. Or even what debates where you in particular disagreed with me.

Perhaps it was the murdered Ant-Babe thread?

nah no offense taken, but i think for a creation thread to be "popular" ie-as in as many visitors as possible- and kryten i think is probabley as close to a celeraty in the UC forums as they come, after all he has pionered, and set the standerd for not just ancient age units, but all units in general, now how dose that factor in?-simple, more people will natuarrly flock to a thred about scen creation when they see that a well known, well respected designer is in there, and needs help on what might just be the best scenario for Civ3 thus, if not ever produced
