E1 looks a lot more like Henry IV of France to me...

Yeah same. They are usually my favourite to play with. I like the idea of Geronimo in terms of big personality, but I doubt it's him...

I find it so strange that the editors of the video let such a spoiler slip. It's quite something...

I don't think this was a slip. They probably knew the poster was in the video, but they underestimated the ability of the lunatics on this board. They probably thought they were only spoiling the fact that there were 4 DLC civs designed at the same time as the base 18.

D4 could be Zenobia, though it wouldn't fit the alphabetical order, either as Syria or Palmyra.

Yes the only slip was allowing us to get together and spread our madness. No one in their right mind would take the time to deduce every picture from a blurry screencap.

I propose C5 is Khmer, maybe Suryavarman II?

And D1 is Mongolia.

As much as I like Poland I feel like it's unlikely in Vanilla

For C5 I have the feeling it is Ertugrul Gazi, who was actually the father of the founder (Osman Gazi) of the Ottoman Empire. For comparison:

C3 is more appropriate as Mongolia with the horse archer.
