Why the hell arn't you claiming the entire Crown of Aragon? You didn't even claim Valencia which speaks the same farkin' language as you! And none of the new world?

Because Aragon and Valencia wouldn't want to take part of our empire and that would bring us too many problems with Spain. The Baleares, even it would be hard, can be convinced and these are we richer than those both. Why bother?

Well done for taking Albania though. Everybody knows how rich and fertile that country is.

Because Aragon and Valencia wouldn't be equal partners? It's a farkin' empire, for god's sake. You'd need the Kingdom of Two Sicilies (+ Malta) as well.

Another one! With the Austrian crisis resolved. The Habsburgs have been defeated and their empire partitioned.

Germany has laid claim to Germanophone-dominated parts of Bohemia, while also annexing Austria proper. They've also married the Habsburgs into their own royal family to increase the legitimacy of the "Greater German Empire."

Due to the distrust between the Latin and Germanic Empires, Russia has been allowed to expand it's influence and take almost all of Austria-Hungary. The Latins did not intervene on the condition Albania, Italian Austria, and the whole of the Adriatic coastline be turned over to them. They also gained Greece, and made the Greek borders extend all the way to the Ottoman Empire's at the expense of Bulgaria. Russia's concessions have been broken up into many puppet states.

In the aftermath of this great partition, the Great Tiger of the East - Japan - has been greatly agitated...

BLUE is the New Hanseatic League. Led by me, of course.
RED - the outskirts of the Transalpine Empire. Allied to Austria and/or Switzerland. The evil guys.
GREEN New Prussia. As evil as the reds, but not as weird.
And the eh... other colour is the Socialist Rhineland Republic. Nothing ever happens there at all.

I counter your anti-France-ity with my map, who's purpose was to take the small countries of Europe and either divide them among bigger powers, partition them among bigger powers, or combine them with neighboring small states. And I took land from Spain to give to Portugal and France. Enjoy!

Here is a map where all the states have been consolidated so that they have about the same amount of electoral votes as California (around 55).

Aaaah, nice templates TLO36 !

So, let´s see... here we´ve got the New Hanseatic League on a European scale.
It is currently locked in a deadly struggle over central Germany and the Czech republic against the Transalpine Liberation Army, which has already gobbled up Bavaria and Baden-Wurtemberg.

Don´t know what to do with the rest of Europe yet. Greece and Russia have gone on a little killing spree as well so far.
