About time someone asks, because only one of them is really German (Bavaria, in the south). The others are West Slavic. The north-western one is Nowa Ladowa ("New Land"), with a Polono-Bohemo-Wendish ruling elite, although in reality it has a German majority and is being rapidly assimilated. The small northern state is the merchant republic of Wandska. The eastern state, finally, is Lusatia itself.
All of Germany was also briefly ruled by the Poles in this world, which is why their Slavic vassals moved westwards instead of being displaced by the German eastward movements...
Bwahahaha... A map with a PoD that none of you will guess. Well, I think Zany_Plebian probably could, considering I was discussing it with him, but I doubt he browses this thread.
That is weird, the layout of the North American States and British florida and antarctica makes me want to say the 'Anti-Ice' time line, but thats probably just wishful thinking ...superpowered china and ottomans probably means a russian disaster somewhere. I give up, unless thats a mongol china or something...
Clearly, this is NESV. I presume it's the one where FK dominates seas while france and her allies conquer in europe. Persia loses the war against Ottomans, and Ottomans along with many other attack HRE etc. etc.
or, then it is the post-war world at the beginning of 20th century.
Speaking of odd PoD...anyone care to take a guess at this one:
Spoiler:
Note this is just a preliminary - I'm almost certain eastern europe can be improved...and adding the cities of course, and neatening up all the borders, but its there in essence. The date is 1830, but that isn't decided for sure either. (Ignore the canals )
Sorry, out of ideas. Although I must say, once more, that great minds think alike; I too believe that an "Australia" should use its strategic position to dominate the Indian Ocean.

Yes His Majesties Government-in-exile has used its near complete control of the roaring forties to dominate the south...if at the cost of losses elsewhere...
A 'south africa' could pretty much do the same thing...(see upcoming events in Fin's NES )
One of the reasons why I'm being coy with the PoD is because I haven't finished writing up why it will cause these changes.
