America: Write Your Own History

I am planning on making a NES starting in either the election of 1916 or the very tense election of 1928. I will probably drop my current NES for the time being to start this one. Tell me if you're interested, and whether you'd have it start at:

1. Just before the 1916 election, which pitted Woodrow Wilson vs. Alfred Reimer and a few other candidates. There was even voter fraud (people created fake accounts to vote for the communists).
2. Just after the 1916 election, where communists threatened civil war and tried to assassinate Wilson.
3. Just before the 1928 election, which pitted the current president Stanley Bruce vs. William McKenzie King vs. communist William Z. Foster vs. democrat Al Hull.
4. just after the 1928 election, where the last-minute entry of Irish socialist Conolly tipped the balance in favor of the communists, and now capitalists are threatening civil war and assassinations on Foster.

First off what's an NES? Second off i'm interested in all for but the two 1928 ones interest me the most.

NESing is a section of the Off-Topic forum that is dedicated to pseudo-RPGs ran by players. They usually but not always are ran on the scale of the players as nations, as there have been plenty of good character-based NESes. The main difference between it and its vastly inferior counterpart Imperium OffTopicum is that NES was originally based on the Civ 3 stories and tales, and is much more story-focused, while IOT is based off of the Off-Topic section in general and is more stat-based.

Secession: Yes West Coast

So we basically if we want an area to secede we would so something like (Australia for secession)?

Yeah. I won't give people TOO big of claims though. You can't claim like, all of Africa. I'll divide up how many cities America has right now with how many voters we have to decide how much a claim gets. For instance, GreekAnalyzer said west coast. Until I do the math, I'll at least do Alaska, Vancouver, and Seattle.

no

the communists didn't secede when all of your imperialistic dogs got elected
but when the communists win everyone freaks out like we have some sort-of secret agenda to destroy everything America stands for

I'm just giving the people what they want. I allowed a similar succession ballot when Wilson was elected but nobody was interested. I guess it paid off

oh, i used "your" loosely to mean capitalists

not you specifically tenenbaum

you've actually done an amazing job giving both sides a fair chance throughout this whole election cycle(s)

keep up the good work :goodjob:

fixed that for you mr.random

No to Secession. Like Moai said, we Communists had a chance to secede and we didn't thus you shouldn't either. It's not like we drove a tank up to Washington D.C and told people to make Foster dictator of the USA. He was elected fair and square like every other president we've had.

Hmmm.... Sign me up!

If you can call having a candidate put on the ballot at the last second thus ruining any chance of a non-communist victory fair.(Hmmm.... anyone want to start running with this?)

The very day I feared has come, my regret is I did not do more to stop it.

Yes to succession in Australia. I'll draw up a speech for my character if we have the time.

and the fact the communists are complaining about moderates reacting unfavorably to a disastrous candidate being elected... absolutely ridiculous when you consider the Wilson reaction.

Hell no we won't go! (No to anti revolution and secession). You capitalists are children, as soon as something doesn't your way you throw a tantrum and try to secede. We gave Wilson a chance and he failed! Give Foster a chance! If he fails then ok, do not re elect him. But give him a chance.
