I know that if he screws up I will call him out. I voted for Foster then changed it to Connolly (although Foster is still my second choice). If he fails then we go back to socialism. Just give him a chance. We survived Wilson so we can survive Foster.

I'm okay with it as well. I've never actually been in an NES. The first thing I thought of when you said that was the Nintendo Entertainment System.

I don't see how secession is worse than (attempting to) assassinate a president who had yet to do anything in office.

Because succession would cause millions of deaths, massive instability, and other horrible consequences. Yes the assassination was awful but not only id he survive, but he was actually better afterwards. Also, radicals did it because they were going to be oppressed by an unconstitutional bill. Communists are not going to imprison capitalists.
