Amirsan3- Diety Newb Attempt- Join!!!!

ControlFreak said he could post tomorrow. Has anyone seen Belial?

OK, I'm here and ready to post. I'm waiting for Amirsan to say so. I don't want to offend (again).

BTW. Is 4000BC turn 0 or turn 1? That would make 15 turns on 3250BC or 3300BC. Which is it?

Yo, I think you are going just a little out of line there buddy...
Amirsan, are you really angry with me or just being sarcastic. (Its hard to distinguish between the two on the web) I really didn't mean to upset you. I was just trying to solve my problem of not being able to play for the next few days. Please tell me you're not mad at me. I'd hate to start off on bad terms.

FWIW I'm online from 7AM-3PM weekdays EST (GMT-5). (No access from home, only from work.) It looks like everyone else logs on after I leave which puts me a day behind everyone.:(

But I don't want to post before Amirsan.;)

If no response before I leave, I'll post tomorrow and add my 2cents worth then.

Amirsan, post ASAP so the rest of us can. And where is Belial? Send him a PM.

No no no no no no no! I'm not realy angry! I wuz just acting sarcative, lol. Just try not to do it again. And same here I hate starting on bad terms always. Dont worry about it.

About the 15 turns , I thought the 4000BC is the 1st turn. I dont think it matters anyways. Just play 15, if your off by like 1 turn then I doesnt matter much.

@Belail- Are u out there???? ou are holding up the game. Please contact us somehow or we will have to drop you from the roster, (and believe me, I dont want to ;) ). I PMed you already. If no response for 24hours then you are booted.

So can we post our turns? I don't think they will be much of a spoiler for Belial.

Pre-turn- Ooops, there is no pre-turn- scroll down,

1- Decided to settle one south on the hill, so I moved my settler there and started worker on the BG doing a mine (as I was told, "the rule of the thumb is to mine first, then irrigate" as told by Chieftess ;).

2- Settled Delhi revealing a Goodie Hut (I was also told to never take the goodie hut unless your expansionist). I started on Warrior for exploration. Delhi realy looks like a soon-to-be powerhouse in the future :D. I started on Pottery on max. science finishing in 20 turns for now.

3- ...

4- ...

5- ...

6- ... wow getting just a little bored here...

7- YES! Delhi; Warrior> Warrior (started exploring north). Worker finished mine and started road.

8- ...

9- ...

10- Road finished and Pottery is due in 10 turns. Moved worker to another BG on the river to work that extra commerce. Traveling on mountains with warrior to get complete veiw over most of everything.

12- Delhi; Warrior> Barracks for pre-build of granary (moved warrior east).

13- Delhi; expands and grows to size 2. Moved lux. to 10%, Pottery due in 8 turns :(.

14- ...

15- Worker finished road on other tile along the river making Pottery due in just 5 turns :), started mine.

Notes- I see already two nice city spots to the east. I suggest settling to the loc. I provided below. Dont forget to switch the barracks when we get Pottery. No contact yet which is a little good that we wont have too much crowding. I like my set of turns. VOTE FOR ME!!! :D

Game!

BTW, i think I played one less turn, but I guess it doesnt make much difference.

1. Move worker 1 tile south. I move the settler due west to get the max number of BGs into range and the game forest.

2. Found Delhi. Warrior due in 5. Pottery in 20, 0 gpt.

6. Delhi warrior-->warrior.

7. I pop the hut. Yes, I know you shouldn't do this on Deity with a non-expansionist civ, but it was going to be popped when my cultural borders expanded anyway, so if I was going to die, better sooner than later. I get maps :yeah:.

10. Delhi warrior-->warrior.

11. Bump lux up to 10% so Delhi won't riot when it grows.

12. Delhi warrior-->Barracks prebuild for Granary. I am NOT building a Barracks in the screenshot.

And that's about it. Here's the screenie:

Whoops, guess there are spoilers when we each play different turns . Oh well.

And the save

Oh, and along the way I mined and roaded a BG, and the worker is mining another.

Oh, I'm here, I thought you said I wasn't because of the upgrade (which I did have, but didn't think all the Euro's didn't). Anyhow, I'm in. Reading where we stand now.

Edit: I'm also assuming we're all playing the first fifteen and playing off the best start?

I also have the save, and, I guess, I'll play fiteen and see how where I can get us.

I like these graphics :crazyeye:. Me gustan. Snoopy's graphics are just as much of an eyesore to me as mine are to you. Mushroom huts are kewl :goodjob:.

Alright, I played fifteen, looking to get a screenshot up, but curious what you guys use for them.

Is there a program you guys use? (rather new at taking screenshots and then uploading them, I just can't waaaaait to upload saves).

Beginning turns: Same o' same o'. Put pottery to max, avoid the huts until I have adequate defense or it's far enough away to not worry (which means I didn't actually pop any). Got a warrior and mined the bonus grassland.

Middle turns: Still early, scouting and looking for some neighbors to trade techs with. Followed the river as that will be our best way to grow, as no one is south of us and, obviously, there is going to be civs north of us. I would expand as far as we can north first and then fill in the gaps, however, not neglect our core too much.

End turns: After three warriors are made, a prebuild for granary is set (barracks) once that is complete, I'll send the last warrior to finish scouting what's around, and then send him back home for military police. Followed the river and noted a flood plain square (nothing much, but always nice). No civ contact yet, but must be close.
