I propose we beg thunderfall again for an anouncement.
Also, sending PMS to people currently in the DemoGam to try and remind them why they joined. I dont just mean the RPG either. I think that the best way to get members is to target current people who are active and inactive in teh actual game. Also a way of encurageing the politiacl parties taht were big in the begining would be nice. Possibly giving tax breaks to companies that support parties, or even giving money to support the parties. Free land give aways could help spark an interest, and alos a simplification of the RPG. That way people who want to join dont feel that they have to read and understand tons of buercratic horse ****. Honestly, the RPg is turining into way to much of a beurocratic mad house to keep people willing to do stuff that makes the game interesting. Who honestly wants to set up a company when they first have to get land, and a building, and then get suppliers, then higher employes, and finally turn in a form of all the money that they make and include the amount of tax to be withdrawn ant then the amount paid to the suppliers? Tehn supplier companies have to turn in forms to the goverment that include taxes. The worst part is taht there is no standard tax, all the diferent types of companies ahave different taxes assigned to them. The only thing that is right with the whole system is that a persons first company is free.
How would I fix this?
Well, I say taht we should simplify the economic sysstem, not complicate it. Also we should set up a pool of free land, preferably in new territorry and land that is no more then 1 food and 1 sheild. We then set it up an a first come first turn basis. Also I would have land purchaseable more frequently, 5 turn chats is way to long of a time. I say that every other turn chat is a much better idea. But in doing that we should put less plots on the market at a time. This would encourage bidding on plots, which as we know is yet to have happened. There should also be more of an advantage to owning plots besides the GPTC. What I do not know, but something to encurage large amounts of land to be purchased. Then set the economy up so that reselling your land is a worth while thing.
The only way to keep the RPG alive and effecting the actual DemoGame is to strongly increase the activeness of Parties. This could be done by creating economic advantages to being an active member of said party and by increaseing their tie in with the rest of the DemoGame.
What does all this mean?
It means taht we need to rewrite the Economic system to be both short and effective.
It means that we need to advertise the system to the DemoGame members, and to non-demogame members.
I means taht we need to increase relations between the DemoGame and the RPG
And finally it means that we need to sevearly increase teh amount of land sold and used.
Any ideas?
