AND2 and SVN Bug Reports - A New Dawn 2 ONLY

On the zero population city, I pillaged it when it was in revolt, down to zero.

The 1st time, it was a Barbarian city, revolted from another civ I think, but I only had the Influence Driven War culture, still had 2 turns of revolt.

I just abandoned they city, waited till the Barbarians finally captured it, no raising, they built it up to 3 and I captured again, again I pillaged to Zero??? so??

I pillage with sea units as well, a great way to gain experience. I just took it as the 'sailors' ransacking the city. As it can only be coastal, I didn't mention it.

Boarded units won't pillage, you have to disembark them from shipping, then they can pillage and re-embark.

Stranger still, units can upgrade while embarked upon ships. I for some reason thought they had to disembark, when in your own culture. I just must be confused about shipping upgrades, that can be only done when they have no passengers aboard, and are in your cultural borders, or your running the civic that allows upgrades anywhere.
 
rev. 1049. Same game. "Che-icon" and "Home" (or F1) doesn't work.

Are you using english language in the mod? I know that sometimes this problem happened when using other languages.
 
SVN 1049 - Civ stuck in minor status.

I have Jean de Arc stuck in minor status. Even though, she has access to Rifling, Iron frigates, Steam power for Pioneers, etc. I've just taken a city of hers, trying to move her on, but it didn't seem to work.

Multiple cities, 6 I can see, maybe more, it was 7.

I've been pillaging with sea units and haven't seen the size-0 bug, but I agree that sea units shouldn't be able to pillage cities.

I've stopped sea units from pillaging cities, but I can't understand what's causing the city to become size 0. Now it doesn't go below 0, but there's something missing. Do you by chance use the option "Flipping after conquest"? I need some other save BEFORE the city gets to size 0, autosaves are ok. I can't recreate the issue, although it happened on IPEX save.

Edit: it should be fixed now in rev1050. Please all, let me know if you're still able to raze cities to 0 size or less.

Hi, i startet a game with a Large map with barbarians and the game after about 100 or 200 turns start to slow down it means when i click end of turn there where i waited 1-2 sec for the next round now i wait 1 minit about, any idea why? the change came from one second to the next one.

please let me know if you have a idea.

Try a recalc, ctrl+shift+t. Does it happen even if you quit the game and reload?

Yes it is also after a reload of the game i deleted also the mod and installed it again, but i have to say i play a huge game it means 20 Civs and i added also 20 Barbarian Civs for every normal civ a barbarian too so maybe to calculate that all it needs more time? strange is that i have another old game where i play there are 14 civs and everyone of us have 50 citys and alot of units and the reload time is 1,5 minit after a turn what i think is ok because the savegame has 6,3MB but the other one with the barbarians has only 1,4MB so normally it shouldn`t be like this no?
 
No, it shouldn't. Try and see under BUG options, A New Dawn tab, bottom of last column if Contact Decay is checked and switch it off if it's checked.

i tested it and i think that this did not help i did not find any change, do you have steam or Skype? i could send you there the savegame.

Zip the save and upload it here, I think zip limit is 10Mb which should be enough. If you put it on the forum or upload it somewhere, other people can test. And no, I don't have Steam, I sincerely hate it :lol:
 
SVN 1050 - Nationalism & Claim no sea tiles checked.

When your in this civic, you are able to claim sea tiles, due to the fixed borders civic of nationalism.

Even though I have "Can't claim sea tiles" checked.

I assume it works the same for all fixed borders civics.

Small low game play error, but a bug no the less.

When I load the opening screen, it says "Update Available!". When I click on the Update Available button, all I have is a blank screen for "Changes (last 50)" Local and Remote both say 1050.
 
I have the same thing, I even reinstalled it and still get the same thing, thought in case my versions got bugged.

Only local and remote state : error

After I reinstalled.

SVN 1050 - Ranged Bombardment from Ships V's city defenders.

Range bombardment doesn't seem to be working for Destroyers/Iron clad battleships and earlier vessels V's city defenders.

I might only have a success rate of 20%, but when I get a green notification, it won't damage the defenders.

I can bombard defences down, no problem, but can't gain ranged bombardment against the city defenders.

All units have ranged bombardment abilities, and I have it enabled (Checked this 1st)

I remember it working for later ships in a previous version, has something been changed and not updated??

2nd item, Republic.

Its too easy, once you get a critical mass of cities, and have built the infrastructure in those cities to run Republic.

I my self, in my current game, have 110 Cities, 2 I'm trying to lose, so 108.

I can run Republic, with 30% Culture, and 25% science rates, and still be making gold each turn.

NO cities are building wealth, they only build science, once they have completed builds.

I can make MORE science, at a lower rate, then I could in Federation, even with the 'Cost penalties.

Solution, make the city cost, a log rhythmic function above a certain number of cities, scaled to map size. Normal maps, say 7-10 cities, scale from there. That way each additional city, ABOVE the 'ideal' level, will exponentially increase the city maintenance cost.

Hello, I'm on version 1049 of this mod. The game sometimes automatically changes the weights of the espionage spent per civilization. It changes it to something silly like in the attached screenshot.

Is this a bug or something?
