Ann Coulter plagiarized?

Do you have anything serious to offer, or just unfunny sarcastic comments? At least Ann Coulter is amusing when she's sarcastic. :p

That's the sad party, I think she isn't sarcastic, nor do many Americans find her amusing.

I would disagree. Most of her inflammatory comments are obviously hyperbole. If you just don't take her more outrageous comments seriously, she really a quite amusing character, who is actually correct most of the time, if you can wade through the sarcasm and hyperbolic one-liners.

...no, actually, thats not true. Ann basically thrives on making the most outlandish statements ever, which more than cross the line of offensive. If you take that away...there IS NO content. She isnt smart or thoughtful like other pundits. She isnt good enought to wipe George F. Will's ass.

I could not believe some of hat this lady says. She wanted Timothy McVeigh to blow up the New York Times building, she claims that women are stupider than men and shouldn't be allowed to vote, she supported South Africa's apartheid government, and she says we should invade muslim countries, kill their leaders, and convert them all to Christianity. I knew this lady was controversial, but some of the stuff she says really gets me to shake my head.

Anyways, did Coulter cite hr references? If so, then there isn't too much of a problem. If she didn't, well, I can see why people would be upset, she basically copied.

That's your opinion, which I do not share. I think the way she puts it is often, as you said "outlandish", but I think her underlying philosophy on most matters of policy are sound.

Not quite - she clarified that she would have preferred for McVeigh to blow up the New York Times building, after everyone but the writers and editors had left. ;) And I don't think she said women are stupider than men; just that they often vote for what she perceives is the wrong party.

I don't know who this Ann Coulter is, but, Do you need to attack her personally to make your point?
I doubt anyone here actually know her either. Just because you see someone on TV or read their books doesn't mean you really know them. It could easily be nothing but an act.

I am serious.

Why are my comments just unfunny sarcasm whereas her's are witty musings on sound principles?

She's a skank, period.

I am serious.

She said:

Coulter has stated that women are "not as bright" as men, "have no capacity to understand how money is earned," and "shouldn't be in the military."

But yet she believe that her ideas are right and good? What about the men who disagree with her?

Well you see, it's a taste of her own medicine since she attacked the person of 9/11 widows.

Clarification: She verbally attacked four 9/11 widows, not all of them, just four.

I’m not sure I agree the above statement is correct. If you click on the footnotes Wiki provides you’ll notice each of the three statements were made on three different dates at two separate places. Plus by taking a few words and quoting them we are losing the context it was given in.

I’m reading one of her books right now and agree she is a bit extreme with her articles, but I agree with some of her opinions. As Elrohir stated, just ignore her blustering and pay attention to the point, and it can make sense.

As to the topic of this thread, she should have stated the correct source. If I’m reading it right, she stated a source, just not the correct one.

Obviously that's hyperbole. She clearly thinks very well of herself; if she thought women are stupid, she would have to think of herself as stupid as well. It's hyperbole - tasteless hyperbole, perhaps, but still hyperbole.

I'm just operating on the assumption that she, like the good Christian she claims to be, follows the Golden Rule. :)

Uhm....does she claim to be a "good" christian. If so, I would like to see the quote. I dont think she claims this at all.

I was hoping on the Tonight Show last night that George Carlin would have tore her open. Sadly he didn't.

George Carlin has some class. Schedule her with Colbert or someone if you want to see fireworks. :)

Ok first off, let's stay on-topic. Secondly, neither me or you are scientists, so let's leave the science to them or start another thread to debate it.

1) I am a scientist. When you assume, you make an ass out of... well, yourself.
2) Since when is quoting and refuting part of the content of an article going off-topic?

I guess I should just edit my post to something more thought-provoking, like, "LOL ANN COULTER IS A FAG PH34R MY L44T DEBATING SKILLZ!" to meet your lofty standards

That doesn't look at all like a single one of blackheart's posts. Seems to me you're the one lowering the standards of debate here.

As I've said before, if she looked like any of us posting to this thread, she'd just be another internet forum troll.

Coming from a troll whose sole contribution to this thread is to make inane and insulting assertions about conservatives, I consider that a compliment.

My assertions made on this thread hold plenty of merit thank you very much, but if you wish to add name calling to your list of dodging the point techniques then by all means that is your perrogative.
