    Thanks. CommanderZ deserves credit for the "extra space" solution that works with downloads & attachments. The "post =" solution I posted I learned by asking someone else a long time ago. So that nameless person deserves some thanks as well.

    Moderator Action: If things go well I should be putting an announcement together tomorrow. I'll make an "official" post to let everyone know when work begins. Which will be the cutoff point for submissions. Anything posted after that goes into the next round.

    Thanks to everyone who gave me images with workable dimensions. I took an extra 20 minutes or so to work with the oddballs so they would fit. Next time I'll be saving that 20 minutes. ;)

    What's new in this version?: This mod is a complete overhaul of the city-state diplomacy system that reduces the importance of the 'Gifts of Gold' and introduces a new, unit-based system of influence. Players are now encouraged to build and use diplomatic units and/or complete city-state quests if they want to earn influence. Because diplomacy now requires production, time and energy, players must actively and consciously strive to maintain good relations with neighboring city-states. Furthermore, diplomatic units, being defenseless, are liable to capture or destruction if sent too far from safety, thus long-distance diplomacy now utilizes a risk-reward system. The AI has been trained to utilize this system, so do not be surprised to see diplomatic units from many different civilizations criss-crossing the world in search of influence!

    What's new in this version?:

    -Added unique player color and art resources for Portugal.
    -Switched out the fast river movement in favor of granting +1 Great Merchant point per turn and free Great Merchant when you research Astronomy.
    -I cut the Explorador's Foreign Lands bonus, but gave them +1 movement and allowed them to make trading posts and all the luxury resource improvements, except for the quarry.
    -Switched Feitoria to become a replacement for the Harbor that provides a slight increase to defense and grants +1 gold for each luxury resource worked by the city.
    -I switched to Darius for the leaderhead stuff because he looks more like a king than Washington and speaks in a foreign language and so its less distracting and more immersive when you meeting him as an AI player.
