You can make a poll about that...

I just need to upload 1 file to the FTP to revert it back to the old date formbat.

Edit: I changed the forum time back to the old format. I need the forum to remind me today's date also. Besides, that timestamp hack creates minor grammatical errors in some places.

Didn't there used to be a "Since last visit" feature last year? Now with the advent of Civ 3 and lots of new posting, it would be nice if one could select forum major categories for it to display so there would not be such a deluge of new posts listed.

e.g, user selected Civ 2 and OT, for instance. Such a patch may not exist, and it would be just a luxury anyway, but would enhance the "Since your last visit" feature.
