Anyone done any computer video editing?

Basically my GF doesn't want to be in a movie I made but the flow would be messed up if I cut her out so I want to blur her face (or the whole scene). I'm looking for free software to do this w/. Anyone know of any? T'anks!

Download VirtualDub and necessary codecs. Then install some filters

Box blur can blur the whole scene, fxovl and logo can place bitmap overlays. Not sure if there's a filter for blurring out only some parts of the frame

What kind of movie did you make??!! Just kidding...

I'm curious about how you would video edit yourself into an existing clip. Is that possible without expensive Hollywood technology? My BIL has an idea that involves video editing for comic effect.

I found out WindowsMovieMaker is cooler than I thought. It can blur/pixelate stuff out.
