hardley; Asia has had its times of triumphs, and is of great importance to history; but the west has permeated EVERY culture on earth; the very government the chinese at least claim to practice has strong spartan influences upon its philosiphy, the econy is rapidlly growing more free of government control; a western innovation of economic policy; the list ocntinues, bust res assure,d that no matter what nations or region stats atakign the lead in the near future, strong western tradition will be at the heart of it.

what eastern country has neve rhear dof democracy, or a free economy, or a trained proifessional military? or freedom of the presses, or personal rights and priviledges? the list goes on and on for innovatiosn for the human condition that the culture of the far east has never laid a touch on; whiel are things that have been held dear to the west for milleania, with a rather short haitus in during the middle ages, in which even then it was not completelly stamped out.

China could very well be the dominat military and economic powerhouse; but it will never be the dominat cultueral influence, and thats what counts in the long run.
