Yeah, but at least it will be in the game at some point. That’s rather disappointing haha

The only real nuclear war game is "Nuclear War" for the Amiga, by the way.

I guess because it's a fan (or at least people who are interested and curious) made initiation, not something they created (like discord, insider forum, etc.). I don't think one can be accountable for not tracking every single subforum of their gameThey did not mention CFC as a forum for ARA.![]()
This also makes senseYeah, I noticed that too...I don't know, sometimes I get the impression that they are intentionally avoiding mentioning "Civilization" at any cost, even though it is the most obvious comparison to Ara.
Moderator Action: translation from google: It was actually used in war only twice, and all other explosions were experiments.
I would hope the Civ VII folks also pay attention to this. In my mind, this is what the single player AI should be like -- and in many cases, "real time adaptive" to the actual player.post about AI by dev in steam forum
English translation?实际用于战争的次数只有两次,其他爆炸均属实验。

It would be great if there was an actual "tuning" file or set of sliders that allowed for a more adaptive AI.
But this is a great start to see -- for me, there are three key things that I want to know before buying this:
1 -- How good is the later game AI
2 -- How unbalanced does the game get later game -- (for example, Civ 6 got horribly unbalanced the longer in the game you go -- the changes being proposed for Civ 7 and the ages may address this in a significant way)
3 -- How many "paths to victory" exist -- if it is the same game to win over and over, I don't want it
So far, my "high bar" here around all of this is Old World.
In my experience (as someone who mainly plays multiplayer with friends) nukes end up falling in every game, but usually in the last few turns either as a last-ditch attempt to stop the winner, or just for the fireworks like kids playing godzilla and destroying their lego city when they're done building.I’m not a nuking fan but I have used them in desperate situations
i wonder what the actual nuke rate use is, maybe that’s part of why they aren’t included in release

Also would be nice to go into a forum space and not talk about this all the time. I wouldn't mind if the conversations were thoughtful and educated but they often start with someone saying something rather extreme or lacking in knowledge.
