I really can't use of your options. I don't think people should take pride in themselves. It has to do ith religion.
 
I think my feelings towards myself could be described as pride. I usually do what I think is right, no matter the circumstances, that's something I'm proud of.
It's not a very strong thing, but I certainly don't feel bad about myself or lack of self-asteem. Which is very important I think, no matter what you do and no matter what others say.

I'm doing good study/work wise, and moving on to do better!

And kicking a**!
 
I wouldn't use the word proud. It's more of being happy for myself. I gross six figures and I live comfortably and how I want to live. I don't worry myself about things and I try to keep my priorities straight First me and family, then CFC, then work ;)

All together life is good, call it hapiness or pride or whatever else you'd like :)

But seriously, I'm kind of inbetween- a state of no feeling towards myself.
 
Semi proud. Currently, my life is going pretty well. I've done stupid things before, though, and I'll probably do other stupid things in the future.
 
Can't be proud of birth. Or luck. When I think about my life, I can't see how I've ever done other than my best, at each moment. I believe most everyone does their personal best, in whatever situation they're in. What's "best" is the question we'll never stop asking, rethinking, debating, and crossing paths on. So, I'm proud of everyone for giving life their 100%, in their own ways. It's not like we have a choice, though.;)

happens to most of us, me too!

It's always bad luck to predict your mark and even worse luck to voice that prediction.;)

Don't worry about grades too much. Far too much emphasis is placed on grades. If your around a B average your doing very well. Don't knock yourself out to get straight A's, or anything like that (it just creates too many head aches).

One suggestion: in tests take the time to re-check your working/answers. And make sure you check what you actually wrote down and not what you think you wrote. :)

Proud? Well I'm pretty happy with the way things turned out but proud is maybe a bit strong to express my feelings. :)
 
Modern man knows not how to feel pride (or show it, or admit it). Where did we lose it? Is this progress?
 
Well I'm quite proud of myself really (although not in a dangerously-blind-to-real-problems way or a superiority complex way either). I set myself 2 major goals in life both of which I have now acheived and I've still got about another 50 years of my life left :eek:

Maybe I could have pushed myself harder or perhaps other challenges/goals may arise as I get older (kids?). Also, I think I usually underestimate my own capabilities so I feel possibly over-proud that I have managed to do something when it happens.

Anyway, you should definately feel proud of yourself - I have found that, sadly, the number of people out there who are happy to (consciously or sub-consciously) knock you down or make fun of you/belittle you vastly outweighs the number of people who would encourage, praise or support you.

So, basically, you have to be your own cheerleader, as no other b*stard will :)

I predict my death will be similar to that suffered by Burt Reynolds in the "The Man Who Loved Women" - he crashes his car as he is trying to eye-up some woman he is passing on the street. So maybe I haven't got 50 years after all. Anyway, after this monday better make that 48 more years ;)
