I fail to see any relevance of this test to the questions in the poll.

It is not about racism, but about the automatic preference. The fact I moderately prefer Whites (my test result) has nothing to do with racism, it's more a natural reaction, since I live in predominately white country and I am white myself. The test doesn't ask if people think blacks are inferior, less intelligent, more agressive etc.

The poll is manipulative, I refuse to take part in such demagogy.

slightly prejudiced towards black people. and Im white jewish.

and in other IATs, Your data suggest a moderate automatic preference for Canada compared to the United States.

I took the religious test, which is apparently culling for antisemitism. Apparently my "data suggest a strong automatic preference for Judaism compared to Other Religions."

Fourth option; I took the test but it never gave any response other than that there were "too many errors," which seems unusual since the whole test appears to be based on how often you select the "wrong" category.

same. I had too many errors (I had a string of about 7 i's and one e. then another 5 i's. and one e. or vice-versa. I didnt think, or bother to read. It was just - i i i i i i i ie i i i i i ie e e e e e e ie e i ei ie ie ie)

Your data suggest a strong automatic preference for Arab-Muslim compared to European American.
Crap, perhaps I really am racist and subconciously hate Muslims.

white Power

I took the test awhile back IIRC and got nuetral. But anyway, I agree with punkbass, the test is ******** and proves nothing.

Your Result
Your data suggest a moderate automatic preference for African American compared to European American

Personally, I think its more about cognitive ability. I tried to disociate the inherent topic from my responses, and treat it simply as a reaction test.

The test is not basing the results on how many errors you make but on how quickly you produce the correct answer. If you (consciously or subconsciously) are correlating the things they are comparing, you will get quicker correct response times. Errors screw things up for them.

Strong Preference for European-Americans over African-Americans

Well whoppedy doo - most of my friends and coworkers are white, fewer are black, that is just because I happen to live somewhere that has more people of predominantly European than African ancestry. But race is a social construct, and not a particularly useful one at that.

Your Result:
Your data suggest little or no association between White American and Black American with Harmless Objects and Weapons. (Yeah, I took the 'weapons' test.)

I know that I'm by definition a racist - I think that races tend to be on average differently-abled, and worse yet, different races differ in attractiveness to me. But I also advocate "color-blind government" and personally try quite hard (and, I think, am fairly successful) to not let personal preferences sway me in business decision-making.

Slight preferance to white. Took the skin colour test, which imo was flawed anyway because the pictures in the supposedly white category all had black hair and yellow skin.

Slight preference to White
