Yeah, it's pretty bad. I mean, Natalie Portman is cute and everything, but it's like a female version of Fight Club in which you learn nothing about women and the twist ending becomes obvious about halfway through the movie.

Speaking of which, have you seen Fight Club? If so, what did you learn about men from it?

Fight Club actually had a really weird effect on me first time I watched it - ended up in tears at the end when we found out the twist. Who knows why, I don't even know, I don't even cry in films, ever (or actually cry in general that much, it takes a lot!).
If anything, it taught me no man is as beautiful as Brad Pitt *drools*
I don't think I've ever really thought about what it taught me about men - the one line that always sticks out for me is, "Someday we will die, and we have to make the most out of life", so I suppose I take that from it. Death is inevitable, life is not.

Clearly a closet bisexual? Erm... what? There is nothing bisexual about knowing whether women are hot or not! Like I can easily say that Susan Boyle is NOT hot.
I don't watch Battlestar Galactica. So this question doesn't help my cause or your cause.

Anyway, you REALLY need to watch the new BSG. Well... the first three seasons plus Razor. In Season 4, the show completely collapses under the weight of its own mythology, and the showrunners literally could not think of a better way to resolve the show's mysteries and end the series than to say "Earth wasn't really Earth, God did everything, and the characters are angels". I'm absolutely not making this up. And "The Plan" was even worse than that.

But the first three seasons and Razor were absolutely brilliant.
