The Great
This is a new NES...Based largely upon my old NES upon request from a few good fellows that greatly enjoyed my last NES...Let us see where this one goes....And people...I aim to be as realistic as possible...If you find yourself commanding a weak nation you have only yourself to thank and you will have to rely on your "realistic" ability to conjure your countries strength...And your neighbor's mercy is another factor in which you would have to rely on
First thing's first...Economy...Please tell me what exactly you do when you up it.it will be raised by 1.Also war spoils contribute to economy.
Second thing is Army...You will grow it based on your population...Which will be on one's template represented by a number...This number will grow with your population. For each level your army will raise 50 men per population level
Next is Navy. One again based on population as it takes more people to build more boats.(2 per level...untill you start making different ships,in which I will determine the ammount made in 1 turn)
Training goes in 5 levels
1.Crappy
2.Poor
3.Moderate
4.Well
5.Elite
Government will have effects...But if you don't specify what you're government does different I cannot say what your government does differnetly. But I will always take government into effect when I see orders, once again this will be a realistic NES.
Culture will be determined by the stories you write and wonders you build...Cultrue effects how NPC nations think about you...A high culture may result in them joining you out of sheer awe
Citizens attitude will completely rely on everything you do.
Population level(A new crap that I invented right about...30 minutes ago) will be determined by the terrain/land value/other various aspects such as vast farms, getting raided by enemies, land mass, citizen attitude.
Trade will be evaluated in this system. You pay 2 economy levels and you open a trade route with a willing partner. You loose 50 troops if it's a land route or 2 ships and 20 men if by sea...And gain an economy level once every 3 turns. Also one may make trade routes with their colonies.
Edumucation is an important thing if you want to get anywhere in the world. It's on a number scale from 0-10.1 economy level to raise 1 level worth of education.
TECHNOLOGY!A BIG THING IN MY NES!You do not have it if you haven't researched it!Ask the people from my old NES how things work around here...They'll tell ya...A large army is nothing without it's technology. One starts with the technology of clubs broken off of tree's.And the knowledge to hunt for food.(Mostly jumping up on bears and whatnot clobbering it to death till it's dead then they feast)I'll keep a log of researched nonsence on my computer to save space on this thread
Template goes something like this...Please Delete where it sais "Nation" and replace it with the name of yur nation
Nation (Specify where it is just in case my geographic skills go stupid)
Player:
Pop Lev:1
Economy:1
Army:100 men (Crappy trained)
Navy:
Government:Tribal society
Education:1
Culture:1
Citizen Attitude:Content
Wonder:
There's numbers on almost everything because I don't believe there should be a limit on anything.
WORLD MAP!The first map posted will be the first update's map...No need to post one yet I SAY
