This is a zip of the assign starting locations lua from the summer 2017 patch version 1.0.0.167. Unzip and copy over the file from the fall 2017 patch to fix the starting locations bug.

File path :

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Base\Assets\Maps\Utility

YnAMP users don't need to use this, it is not compatible

Presumably you have the Civ VI SDK and ModBuddy or did you produce the .modinfo by hand?

The one on the steam workshop fixes the errors in the assignstartingplots lua from fall 2017 patch without reverting.

Either one will work.
Or you can enable YnAMP and play the vanilla maps.
