Also note perpetual use of them as meatshields MIGHT make them reconsider the terms of the alliance.

What's disgusting is Amazonia's staunch close-mindedness to people of differing opinions. Magic practitioners aren't automatically chained and hanged. We are fine with housing those who want to practice magic... So long as they don't actually do it here. In fact, it'd be encouraged that those who practice such an unnatural practice to come to Fortschritte and learn just how dangerous and self-destructive the practice is.

There are wars in Asia and Africa, if I recall correctly. Isn't the trip all the way to North America a bit of a hike for displaced, impoverished refugees? Not to mention sailing the most powerful ships of your fleet into war zones doesn't exactly seem like a good idea to begin with.

Well, would you rather be greatly displaced in a land of opportunity or the middle of a war zone in a very unstable region of the world? Furthermore, sending unarmed ships is a better idea? Fortschritte has no stake in the war, attacking a carrier would be suicide for either side. We merely wish to assist as many people as possible. Carriers, being as they are, are optimal for moving large numbers of people and guaranteeing their safety.

I didn't say one couldn't break any and all existing agreements, I said that its generally best that one chooses an out of the way nation (particularly one which doesn't have existing DP's or major investment from a major power) to avoid the unfortunate outrage that comes when ones long investments and efforts are rendered null and void.

As the two new multinationals are under NPC boards at the moments, just send general orders to buy energy branches with x amount of money and I'll work something out with the NPC corporations.
