Okay, I couldn't figure out how to make the file size smaller for the PNG, but I saved it as a GIF and it meets the required specs for an avatar. Here is the PNG and the GIF
I had to shrink the original a tiny bit to make the hat visible. I have other hats if you don't like it.

My avatar-making-fu has failed me, so I turn to the wonderful folks here for some help.
Could someone cut Germany off this image, and make the resulting Gemany's background transparent? However, in the following specifications; 150x150 max imagesize, 25kb max filesize.

Hey, can someone please add a paper hat that says "HONOUR" on it to my avatar's head? I don't mind if the top part or so of the hat isn't shown (since there probably isn't room for it).

Thank you Reno, NorthWolf and Pete - but a friend of mine wanted to and i couldn't refuse. He had the original picture tho. 
Although it is kinda blurry, but the one he sent me looks better. I can't for the death of me figure out how to make it uploadable from a *.psd file.
And now it's 1 week till xmass so avatar switching time.

@Gelion My attemps, they however are both slightly above the filesize requirement. I can't seem to get .gif files any smaller.
They look really good
I really like the first hat. If it makes it better you could cut the lower part of my avatar and try anew?
