Well it definitely is a pre-dreadnaught, though I think it was built in Italy.

As for the death, maybe I didn't make the hull go up high enough from the explosion, that's all I can think of fixing there. It does sink fast for a big boat, but it does after all have to go from afloat, react to the explosion, then become completely submerged all in 12 frames.

Looking at it further, I think the problem is that it should glide backwards as it sinks; being basically torpedo-shaped, differential water resistance would make it glide aftwards like on a ramp.
