Both genders are very welcome, and I would not be disappointed in any way or on any level if my first child would be a boy. It's just that girls in general are a little bit harder to raise because of their "own will" which is in the early years in general a bit stronger than in boys. I like that challenge.

HAHA! Have you ever talked to parents? I'll bet you a 100 $ that you will find it challenging to raise a child no matter if it is a boy or girl, more challenging than you'd like in fact.

I always wanted a little girl growning up, and now I have two. And four boys, as well. While I wanted a little girl, I was not unhappy to find out I was having a(nother) son.

I would like to have a son one day, but I would also like to have a daughter as well. In short, I'll take either. But this matter is still a ways off, seeing as I don't even have a girlfriend at present.
