And I was going to ask about that. Wasn't sure if two players can pick the same civ, was going to allow it if you still wanted to play as them.

There is nothing in the game that prevents the same civ/leader being used more than once. Question is how we are going about it in this game. IMO same civ different leaders is OK same civ same leader is not.

I'll maybe have to rethink my civ choice should we only allow each civ only once.

My only worries are that if we border eachother, it might get a little confusing as to who owns what. Other than that I don't care.

I believe that you can have the same leaders and civs without any confusion. The game will give you different colors.

Think this a good overall pair of civ's that can survive any warmongers while we spread our faith(s) & create our Shangri-La of trade & culture throughout the world.

Quick Q with the advanced start, is that 750 adjusted down for difficultly or will be adjusted to 750 after being reduced?

OK... we are (almost) decided:
Michkov = MM/Mali
KenWyn = Shaka/Zulu or if someone else wants them, i will try Char/Holy Rome for a change of pace.

Settings = fine & turn order works well for us.
(map size = huge? large?)

Sure hope this works out, this will be a LONG game with so much discussion between mates. As the start up is proving.
