Randomly was a very forgiving term. Though I am not sure, I think it was inserted in the most leading way, by having the girl suggest to OP he should read the indian book - ? Maybe this isn't so, since it makes no sense to suggest to someone to read a book in their own library - and as a result he learned of the quote.
I'm not sure if the implication was supposed to be "he first saw the quote during the sex" or "he was already aware of that line and Jean Tatlock just happened to pick that one at random"

I am watching Oppenheimer tomorrow and have not been in a theater since Avengers Endgamenot really interested in spending 50 bucks to roll the dice on contracting a mystery chronic illness that we know next to nothing about but which appears to compromise your immune system and/or give you permanent brain damage

Keep in mind that the usual suspects include those extremely rare cryptids, the sane leftists. If you think that criticism from them is equivalent to an endorsement, you probably need to do some self-reflection.

Bill Maher is not in any way, shape, or form a "leftist" other than his occasional ripping of the religious right or the obviously ridiculous things about Reaganomics. He's a textbook Anti-PC centrist dirtbag, the type of guy who makes a living off of pissing off anyone and everyone across the spectrum and just says he's "telling it like it is" and that he's the lone sane defender of free speech out there any time someone pushes back on the more ridiculous things he says.

He's alternatively self-identified as a liberal or a libertarian, which roughly tracks with the kinds of political views he epouses. Which is to say that some of the things he says might be left-wing, but plenty of it isn't. He's hardly some far-left extremist.
