[R&F] Based on the new features - which civilizations and leaders should be introduced in R&F?

These leaks seem legit and I sure hope they are because I can't wait to play as the Cree!

Assuming the leaks are real, what do you all expect for the new Indian leader's ability as well as the Cree civ?

Is that actually the official 2K site?

Seems like it (according to a previous post), though my knowledge of Chinese is so poor I probably wouldn't be able to say if this was fake.

I think it is the official site. Look at the translated version in the image below. I don't think they could use such a description if it was not official.

Well, I don't want to get too excited right now, but if we're really getting an alternative Indian leader, I'd be very happy. My hopes are in Akbar or Ashoka.

... North Korea?

I don't know what to think about the Cree, but if the leak is true, the Cree makes Canada a lot more unlikely to appear (except if we get a scenario).

Indian alternate leader is i guess Mughal (Taj Mahal also made it into the game). A bit sad that they didn't get their own civ, but okay. Nur Jahan is a good possible bet. I didn't know they had a female Mughal leader. The problem with alternate leaders is that they only need a new agenda and a new leader ability, and I wished something more could change, so they those new bonuses really need to be interesting, but I guess India did need a buff, and the Isabella rumor is just wrong or so?

I would have preferred a Native American culture from just about any other region, and of the plains cultures I would have preferred the Comanche. But it's better than not having a Native American culture. And at least it isn't the ultra-stereotypical Sioux.

For those who the image is blocked for:

EDIT: For the longest time the image was just a kid with some text in Chinese over it. I went through a whole ordeal for the past half hour with Google Translate to figure out what site was blocking it to reveal it, but now the original image is unblocked. Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's just what appears to be two private images/videos labeled 'Civilization VI Rise and Fall - ____ Leader'. The second one definitely says Indian Leader. The first one Google Translate says is "Kerry Leader", which going by the original poster is "Cree". My Chinese is barely elementary, but I wouldn't put too much stock into the image. Most significantly it's unsourced (though if the OP could provide it that would be very helpful!), and the fact that it's just two boxes saying ___ Leader makes it very easy to fake. It could be a good point of discussion and given how surprisingly often leaks like this happen for other games (early private trailer uploads have spoiled many Nintendo reveals, for instance), could very well be true. But no one should get their hopes too high up.

Google translate called it Christian leader for me. Apparently the Ojibwa exonym for the Cree is Kiristino, which must be how it got mistranslated.

Big Bear, their most famous leader.

Seems like they were allied with a lot of other first nations in the region, and one of the biggest Canadian first nations.

Sounds like a good candidate for something unique with the new alliance system. And a livestream with them would give the opportunity to show off how that system works.

Makes total sense, im extra curious to see what their UU would be.

It looks like it. The white band on his forehead is probably part of a headdress.

also, now that i'm looking at it, who exactly is commanding those orange and white units? Australia's new colour scheme is green and black....

It's probably Dutch units, it's just hard to make out the light blue. Or it's before the Australian colors got changed. And that is probably Wilhelmina. She has kind of apple cheeks.

The Cree UI is two tiles to the North of the city and 2 tiles to the NE of the city.

Kind of a shame it spoiled this way, a first look with the Cree would have been a very pleasant surprise next week without the leak, but oh well.
