I'm using the Linux Version, so this probably won't work straight out. Again, using Linux, but I can probably mess around with nice values and priorities.As for speeding up your folding the only thing I've found that helps is when I leave my machine alone for awhile I disable the background processes like anti-virus and make sure all windows are closed.
