It's f ing close to water.

In all fairness to the Americans, I think the alcohol content winds up being the same, they just measure it by mass instead of volume, or something stupid like that.

Certainly does taste like water though.

I admit i'm a sucker for foreign beers with exotic names. If the occasion calls for more generic and easily accessible beer, theres nothing wrong with the local danish brewerys; Carlsberg, Tuborg, Ceres, Faxe, etc. But I don't drink that much or that often, so price is not first priority.

A beer without hops is an ale. I think. And yes, I suppose without hops it wouldn't be bitter.

hmm, I could try to acquire a taste for wine. But I've tried several times to acquire a taste for wine for health reasons. I just can't get into it.

Keep trying. One day you'll find a bottle of wine that blows your mind. It happened to me quite unexpectedly.

Try it with food. Only very strange people, and some women, drink wine unaccompanied.

A nice bottle of red wine with either a fat juicy steak, or tomatoes and cheese, ooh!
