Okay, the title describes all that you ask. What's the best cartoon series(moving on, not by episodes like in Cartoon Network, I'm talking about GUNDAM, etc.) that you'd ever watch?

I'm rather ignorant and haven't heard of any of those choices (apart from pokemon)
However the sheer fact that Pokemon is in a list for best cartoon series while the likes of Tom and Jerry are left out is almost a crime upon itself
Just kidding, but defiantely Looney Tunes cartoons (or is that what you mean by not by episodes like in CN?)
If that's the case I'll go back to my childhood and say the likes of Wacky Races, Top Cat, Flintstones, Jetsons, Count Duckula, Danger Mouse etc.

I mean by "not by episodes" is that the story continues unlike in CN, for example, Ed, Edd and Eddy, they run it in episodes like "Don't rain on my Ed" and "Sir EDalot" and last only for 10-15 mins. unlike Gundam which has like this "to be continued...................."

I'd agree with Futurama beinG the best (new eps out soon WOOOOOO)
but I think what he's trying to say is what's the best cartoon with a plot that follows on episode to episode rather than perhaps a light back story which pops up every now and again (Lila and Zap for example)

Have you seen Gundam Wing? It blows the SEED series out of the water imo.
I'm going to watch the Neon Genesis Evangelion series this weekend through Youtube. I've heard that it's EPIC. It's short--only 28 episodes, can probably be seen in one or two days.
EDIT: I'm restricting my comments to anime, since the OP did the same.
Some Western cartoons are much better than anime, FWIW.
