Well, I didn't see a poll for the GOP debate so here it is.

Sara Palin - she has that certain conservative wit that strikes the heart of the common man.

You know, I don't know, but it's kinda right, no? I don't know? Well sorta...

Zombie Regan. You know the candidates are going to try to claim they're the next best thing anyway.

General Petraeus and Mitt Romney are the only two on that list that would have a shot in the general election, but I could not support anyone on that list over the President.

Donald "We have to put more pressure on the middle east for prices on oil" Trump? Wow that's gonna work out swell...

Preferably someone who isn't going to beat Obama in the elections.

Oh wait, that's all of them. ;)

All the polls done by CNN and Rasmussen show Ron Paul as the winner.

On that list: Gary Johnson is the best.

The best Republican candidate is Obama. *rimshot*

Isn't Patraeus a democrat anyway?

You could do a lot worse than Mitt Romney, really. Namely, all the other names on the list (apart from Gary Johnson and Tom Miller (who wikipedia apparently hasn't heard of either), and I guess Petraeus because I've no idea what his political positions are).

No Mike Huckabee?

I only wanted serious candidates in the poll really. I'm still not sure if I should have put in Mitt Romney, Trump, or Sarah Palin because they seem more like creations of the media-entertainment complex than respected leaders of the community.

:dubious: one of those three is not like the others....

You say "serious candidates" and you want to exclude Romney, who will probably win unless Pawlenty gains steam. Meanwhile you include Herman Cain who doesn't stand a chance, and David Patraeus who isn't a Republican and isn't running.

Voting with my current mindset, I picked Romney.

With my old mindset, I think I would still have picked him, or maybe Palin or Trump.
