Since i just posted this image on another thread, i thought we could have a discussion of the best-looking parliament buildings on this planet :)

This is the awesome parliament of Hungary, in Budapest:

I have been there many years ago. I also have been to the British Parliament area. In my view the one in Budapest is even more impressive :)

So you can post/suggest parliaments you like. It would be probably better if you only post up to three in any distinct post. Please use up to medium-size images :)

Surely the pathetic parliament in Athens is not worth mentioning through some image :/

Well, Brazil's is overly-ugly, lacking the organic elements you expect of great buildings. The Spanish Senate is not so much ugly as plain. The US Capitol is very nice, but we see so much of its imagine, it is hard to judge it fairly. (Cluttered surroundings detract from it, I think.)

I'm going to go with Canada. Not because it's actually any good- like almost all parliament buildings, its a pompous, grandiose pile- but because at least they have the decency to just go full-Hogwarts with it.

I have not seen the restored Reichstag. They say the new dome is really something. If you can catch the Mounties doing their ceremony on Parliament Hill, it is really something.

Just like the Germans to disguise a glass tornado superweapon as some kind of energy saving ventilation system.

Really more interested in the circular wing with a fanciful name than the usual stone edifice on the right.

"They're solar panels."

Open your eyes, sheeple!!! You ever been to Germany? There's no sun! Why are there so many solar panels!!

There's very little litter either. We must ask ourselves: are the Germans people at all? Or are they really alien shape-shifting sharktopoids?

Not the Reichstag...It is boring.

Although i understand it still is far better than the (old?) Czech parliament:

That's the building of the Czechoslovak Federal Assembly (the Commie-era parliament). I think they restored or tore down the building...? No idea, I don't live in Prague (fortunately).
