Yes, it's not hard to stick around when the only country that's a threat to your power is forsworn from ever invading you.

He's just the sort of guy I'd like running my country - doesn't care abut his own fortune and loves hs country above everything else. And, he's a great soldier, which makes it all the better.

I agree, Fidel is a fantastic leader, despite the negative propaganda. Cuba has the best and most efficient public health and education systems on Earth for a reason.
