Beta Testers Needed!

This mod is becoming just as critical to BTS as RoM itself. :D

Thanks, that's my goal.

Just to clarify, did Sephi's speed improvement mod make it in? (Link below)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=342457

Yes and No. Technically no, but only because Better AI already made similar changes. So you had the speed effects all along.

Also, any idea when Vincentz' mods will be incorporated? Thanks.

I'll add that to the 1.6 drawing board. I need to add an obsolescence effect for his corporations in the SDK, then I can add his Guilds. The rest of his stuff should be pretty easy to add.

If you think you know of or have a 3-6second clip of a good sound effect for a building, PM me with it.

I can take a crack at making some sounds for your buildings. Could you make a list of buildings that you want new sounds for?

Some of them don't really need new sounds, the barracks one works for most military buildings. However, 2 of the arctic ones needs sounds, and I bet all of generalstaffs buildings (Which are now in AND) need new sounds too.

Okeydoke, thanks again.

Out of interest, has any testing been done to find out what kind of percentage speed increase your own optimisations have resulted in?

Not to draw first blood, but...

Civics that enforce borders do not have that fact reflected in their Civilopedia entries.

And, did you mean to make Fixed Borders mandatory?

Edit: Nevermind for the last bit...saw the game option on the custom game screen.

Alright folks, I already goofed. I forgot a few essential text files in the 1.50beta2 installer. I updated the OP to a new installer, 1.51beta2, and it is save-game compatible, for those of you who actually got a game going already. Run my uninstaller first though.

See the AND concepts page, I listed them there.

It's a custom game option. When you start a new map, scroll to the bottom of the game options, its there.

I also noticed that there are 2 "Waste Incinerator Power Plants". Why don't you just combine their stats into one building? Sort of a Civic Building / NIMBY cross over building.

Because I didn't think of it, that's why! Good idea. Will do. ;)

"See the AND concepts page, I listed them there."

I did so, that's why I checked the civics themselves, to see if they'll show up in game (Outside the Civilopedia). Not a big deal, regardless...not when compared to the veritable art form the rest of the expansion within an expansion within an expansion is thus far...

In the new "A New Dawn Concepts" under "Advanced Diplomacy" it says you can trade workers. Is this true?

Yes, but ATM, only 1 way, to the AI. It's a listed bug on the OP. In the future, it should be dual trading.

What happened to General Staff's units that came with the "Civic Buildings"? There use to be like a Bandit Footpad, Bandit Rider, Imperial Guard, Guard Du Corps, Modern Imperial Guard and Robotic Imperial Guard. Where did they go?

Oh, whoops. Simple error. I forgot to update the MLF for that folder. It installed, it's just that the MLF is out of date. You can update it yourself, I hope. I'll fix that for future releases.

okay, does only a modified storms (I set initial spawn chance to 0) and setting negative one for the max number of wonders count as a clean copy or should I reinstall RoM?

How update MLF for units?

No Storms is already a modmod in the installer, you shouldn't need to edit your base RoM files. As for wonder counts, that does count as a change. Fixing the MLF on the other hand, does not.

do you know where the wonder count is so I can revert it?

I meant how do I fix the MLF thing so I can get these new units?
