Would definitely love it if beta3 released sooner (so I can play all day Wednesday while prepping/cooking for T-day), but am excited to get beta 3 whenever you can push it out. Thanks!

If I release it sooner, it will have more bugs.

No, but I have copies of all 3 RoM versions, if needed. My next beta will be 100% compatible with the mega pack.

Here's the "Civ Customizer" I've seen. I noticed that there is an option for it in the "GlobalDefinesAlt.xml" but it says not implemented. Perhaps Dale never updated it and whatnot.

Unfortunately, I'll be searching for an alternate download link. The one there seems to be broken.

It adds the Landfill NW, Maximum Security Prison NW, Makes a Toxic Waste Dump NW required before a player can build any nuclear power plants... etc.

I'll write up a full list as I get closer to an official release.

Not In My BackYard!

It adds in cool buildings to help other cities but at terrible cost to a city they are built in.
Waste management buildings, high security, etc.

If you turn your coastal capital into an uber commerce city and throw the landfill in there with your central bank, wall street, and some settled priests/merchant it helps alot

I don't get it . I've always had "CheatCode = chipotle" on since I've had BtS. I don't see how it would work with it as it is a mod that has nothing to do with "chipotle" being enabled. I was asking Afforress if it was possible to re-implement it into either his modmod or as a possible module for RoM.

I discovered a repeatable CTD tonight. Save file attached; just hit end turn to trigger the CTD. Log files show nothing useful as always

I'm running 2.8 w/out the 55 Civs addon, w/hotfix 3 and early buildings 1.91, along with beta2.

If you happen to know how to fix this, I'd very much appreciate it. I'd like to finish this game (it's the farthest I've managed to get without lots of CTDs), and can do the xml/python fixes myself, once I know what they are

Welp, I tried your modmod beta yesterday and fell in love with it, Afforess. The advanced diplomacy option almost made me soil myself with glee when I saw what it could do.

So it looks like I'll be getting back into ROM again now...long hours of sleepless nights are ahead of me. I hope you're proud, because this is your doing.

Oh, and I tried to keep an eye out for your speed improvements taking effect but it's been so long since I played ROM that I can't give an honest appraisal just yet.
