Beyond Earth Diplomacy Not Visible- HELP!

Not only is the screen permanently windowed, but when opening any diplomacy screen, I cannot view the accept nor reject buttons, meaning I effectively cannot conduct diplomacy whatsoever. ESC can get out of basic negotiations, though I can never accept anything and when the AI asks for a favor, I cannot do anything at all, meaning I must exit...


Is there any fix available?

If you're playing with extremely low resolution, then that's your problem. The interface doesn't work properly with those.

It will not allow me to alter my resolution at all.

That's by design, there's no diplomacy in this game.

when you open the diplomacy screen in rising tide there is a little button on the top left above the portraits if i remember and there you can see pretty much the same stuff we are used to

Do you see the characters in the diplomacy screen?

If I have AA set to off in the video settings page, I have a black screen in diplomacy and the person i am supposed to be talking to is absent .... If I turn any of the AA options in, he/she returns.
